Had a real mix of good and bad here the other day. It started out poorly, as the payment system they had was being very slow and... was awkward even when it was working. I felt bad for the woman working there that had to deal with it. It eventually did work sowe could eat. Once the food was out, the sandwiches were still fine as expected. The French dip was my choice, and I?d considerit again if I came back. It was more expensive than I thought it would be even with inflation though. Chili was decent but notgreat, and the potato soup tasted off as if the milk was a bit old. The sugar cookies are well worth getting, being the soft yetsomewhat chewy kind. The mix of service being held back by technical issues, prices higher than some full service restaurantsI?ve been to recently, and inconsistent food gets a 3. The good parts were still pretty high up there, and the low points wererather annoying. Read more
Southwest chicken sandwich with a cup of chili and their famous iced tea, all very good. Only problem was it was so cold in... there I couldn't really enjoy it. Why do these restaurants do that? Ugh. Read more
Save this McAlister's please! We don't want it to close! The smell of rotten eggs permeated every aspect of the restaurant. They... say they can't get any lemons. It was not clean. The staff was wearing what they wanted. To our sorrow the tea tasted strange.Once upon a time this was a clean place with great tea. The staff was efficient wearing clean khakis and polo shirts. The staff was friendly, prompt and attentive. The meals were enough to feed everyone another meal for later. I ate half the... potato (which was basically two of them together) and half the sandwich. They didn?t short me on any of the fixings and thesides were very tasty as well. The chili is thick and the service at dinner time was quick. Read more

Outstanding service and staff, clean throughout, well organized, and the best salad I have ever had! Stopped in on a Friday... night at McAlister's Deli. We walked straight up to the counter with no wait. We were greeted immediately by a man namedTerrence who I have to say is outstanding at his job. He is polite, patient, well spoken, and very friendly. He was quick totake our order and gave us our number to place at the table for when our food was ready. Within 10 minutes we had our foodbrought out to us. I ordered the full size Savannah Chopped Salad which was amazing!!! It is loaded with grilled chicken,dried cranberries, Gorgonzola, honey roasted almonds, tomato and cucumber on mixed greens. It comes Sherry Shallot dressing onthe side. The salad itself was so good I didn't even use the dressing. My wife got the pick 2 which are half portions and gotthe half size Savannah Salad and Spicy Turkey Melt. She said it was fantastic. All for just under $20 total. I would nothesitate to recommend McAlister's to anyone. Not only for their fantastic, reasonably priced food but incredible service. My favorite is the Savannah Chopped Salad with Chicken!!! Mmmm! My parents LOVE the Chicken Salad Sandwich on Croissant and the... HUGE Yummy Sugar Cookies!
