I've been here twice in a few weeks. The atmosphere is great, the woman who works the front is attentive, and most importantly... the food is absolutely delicious. We weren't sure what to expect but this place was a hidden gem! We loved it. First thing we noticed was, the menu was a little... difficult to understand. Prices and how they relate to the dishes weren't clear and I think some of the prices may have beenincorrect (the dishes were cheaper than they appeared to be on the menu). The service was excellent and friendly, the foodarrived incredibly hot and fast. We weren't sure what to order so we ordered a little extra and figured we would take it home.Let me tell you, EVERYTHING was phenomenal. We had the cream cheese rangoon for an appetizer (incredible), red Curry, and thepanang curry. Both were spectacular but the panang was a little better. Wish we would have ordered 2 of them. The red curry(mild) had a little extra basil in it, which I enjoy but that panang with shrimp was probably in my top 2 I've ever had. The PadSee You (mild) was phenomenal and wasnt very hot at all. We also had crispy pad Thai (medium) and it was hot enough that ineeded a little water after 4 or 5 bites. I like that level but if you dont like hot, don't order it medium. Everything wascooked perfectly and excellent flavor. One thing that should be noted is, the hotness scale is mild (which is kinda hot), medium(which is definitely hot) and hot (which i cant imagine how hot this is, but when people say its "Thai Hot" you will have tearswhen you're eating it). Affordable Thai food in the Dayton area. Wide selection of menu. Authentic taste. The restaurant has great ambience although I... only went inside to pick up a to go/take out order. Don't forget to try their 3 Flavor Shrimp, Calamari, Philippine Beef andSweet & Sour Fish. My kids love the taste of their food too. Thai Kitchen is situated in an unassuming building that?s actually quite nice inside. It?s bright and ambient, a great place to... catch up with a friend over a meal. Our waitress was friendly and kind. Food came relatively quickly. We tried the crabrangoons, gyoza, the red curry and the pad Thai. All the food was delicious! Very flavorful and fresh. The pad Thai was almost asoupy noodle so different than usual, but still very good. Curry was fantastic. Will definitely be back if I?m ever in the area! Read more
The place had a nice ambience to it and it was not busy on a Friday evening. I got the duck curry (spicy) it was very good. The... spiciness was perfect for me. The service was a tad bit slow but it was good. The place was clean and decorated nicely. The menuis huge, over a good place to get some good Thai food with some decent prices. Nasty food I had Lo Mein Noodles With fried tofu today. The food was warm not hot. The tofu taste. suggy And the lo ... main with veggie taste awful. I ate only 2 bites. I told the server the food taste nasty. He didn?t say nothing I pay andleft. Was driving home I had to pull over the road. Cause was vomiting non stop I had to work tonight I couldn?t. Was in the area, had been here before, so suggested to my wife we go back. Everything we ordered was delicious. I ordered a... Thai curry dish with chicken. Wife had shrimp, daughter had chicken fried rice. Update - July 2021 We returned had anotherexcellent meal. I've been to the Thai kitchen several times, every time the food has been great. The service was great,attentive but not too over the top. Next time I am in the area and want Thai food, I'll be back. Read more
We had the Pho Beef and let me tell you, this pho was the best we?ve had in Dayton! The beef isn?t sliced and it was well cooked... - not too tough. Good quality beef and the broth was so flavorful! The portion size was just perfect to fill you up! My otherhalf ended up ordering one to go that?s how good it was! We will definitely be returning and trying out their Thai food! Read more
