The pizza here is fantastic! I ordered the Taylor Street and customized it a little bit, which made it even better. The drinks... are very good as well. The folks ordered pizza and the chicken parm. sandwich and we all sampled those, and enjoyed them. Pricesare a bit steep for the portion sizes you get, in my opinion, but, I highly recommend! We are here and we’re super happy with the food. So nice if you have a restrictive diet. One of us was gluten free sugar free... vegetarian, one vegetarian, and one meat eater. A lovely atmosphere is to be had at Wheat Penny. The servers here are absolutely top notch. Eric, Amber and Isabella are... terrific. They're personable, helpful and they make one feel truly welcome. The Classic Vegetable soup is delicious! Plenty ofchic peas and very filling. I could have eaten those crouton garnishes all day. I also tried an original Gin drink calledPersian Spring. As a mixologist I'm usually tough on new drink inventions but this time I'm quite surprised and delighted! It'smixed with rose water, rose syrup and Empress 1908 purple Gin. Refreshing and complex enough to be a conversation piece. It'sgarnished with edible rose petals and a piece of candied lemon. Absolutely wonderful! Came here for dinner on a Friday night with a couple of friends and really enjoyed it. Waitress was good. Food was good. Got the... strip steak and my wife got a burger - we were both very happy with what we got. They have an outdoor patio area which theyenclose and heat for the winter and we sat there - it was quite hot actually, but not enough so to affect our experience. Went out to lunch with my spouses and our husband found this place and we hadn't been. The atmosphere is fantastic and they have... buyable art work from local artists for sale. The food was so good! My wife and I had been craving pizza and the pies here wereamazing! The drink menu looked amazing also and while the French 75 was only a mocktail on the menu I have never seen a placewhere they served it in any fashion. Read more
The overall atmosphere was very nice. We sat on the patio and was very warm on this winter evening. The food was pretty decent.... Our waitress Shannon was phenomenal. A great place to eat in Dayton, Ohio This was recommended as a place to try when I visited Dayton on a business trip. This... restaurant is to the north side of I35 and to the west side of Wayne Avenue. There seemed to be a fair amount (about 25) ofparking spaces to the north side of the main building. The outside of the restaurant may not look like much but don’t let thatfool you. It is very nice inside. It has an indoor and outdoor dining area. We decided to eat in the indoor dining area. Thereis a bar, and an assortment of high tables and low tables. The decor is very cute with light color paint on the walls and carpeton the part of the floor where our table was located. The tables are wooden with plenty of area between them. We were seatedquickly. The waitress was very quick, efficient, and pleasant. They have a pretty broad menu with items from appetizers tosandwiches to pizza I ordered an iced tea and a pizza. The food came out quickly and was very good.
