Great little coffee shop in a refurbished older location. Wide variety of coffee and snacks. Several parking spots in back.
I?ve visited Wholly Grounds a handful of times now. Each experience has been absolutely lovely. I?ve had ice lattes, hot drinks... (mocha, chai) and teas. The barista?s have all been kind and helpful when assisting me with what I should order. Now the indooratmosphere is unmatched. Beautiful thriving plants, round tall tables with barstools and typical square ones along with cozycouches furnish the indoor space. It?s a nice place to have a coffee chat, do laptop work or even read a book! The porch area inthe back is delightful as well with a great amount of shade and sun. First time here, I asked the barista to make me a cold brew with oat milk, chocolate and raspberry & it was amazing! I got an... Apple danish which was so good too. Loved the friendly atmosphere in this coffee shop! Plenty of seating. Free wifi. Great selection of games to enjoy with a... friend. They even offer outdoor seating with table umbrellas if needed. My friend and I stopped in for coffee and a snack.Perfect! Read more
I never pass up an opportunity to visit a new place for the first time, so I'm glad this time wasn't any different! Amy at... Wholly Grounds showed me instantly how this place gained popularity so quickly in Dayton community! The art work made the wallsseem lively. The lighting was soft and mellow to balance out the heavy blaring of the city outside. The drink offers ranged froma stand out cup of basic black all the way up to a coffee lovers ideal favorites! They even had some things that I couldn?timagine coming up with, but can?t wait to try!) Donuts, vegan cookies (chocolate chip) and Oatmeal Cream Pies, pastries andother tasty treats. What an amazing place and atmosphere. Perfect vibe for the first coffee of the day or a place to relax and unwind. They offer... coffee drinks for those coffee drinkers that like international and local favorite types of coffee drinks. Also they have sometasty baked goods too. The owners are extremely friendly. You can enjoy their back patio area as well as some comfortable deepcushion sofas and chairs. Finally they offer live jazz music on certain nights and they are working on getting some spoken wordpoetry nights too. My new favorite coffee house in Dayton. Read more
