We enjoyed every moment of our wine tasting on the lovely patio of Domaine Drouhin. They sold out of tastings the day we went. I... made our reservation several months before. I was glad I did. This winery is very popular. The patio has stunning views of theirvineyard. I felt like I was in France! Be sure to use their restroom as you walk through the fermentation room to get to therestroom. Beautiful location and ambience at Domaine Drouhin. Our host, Cesar, was an excellent representative/host. He hasexcellent knowledge of the wines and the history of the winery. We enjoyed many outstanding wines. Our favorite was the DomaineDrouhin Oregon Edition Limitee' Pinot Noir. We loved the wines so much we joined the DDO Direct Wine Club. The winery sits almost at the top of Dundee Hills, overlooking the Willamette Valley, and on a clear day with views of the... Coastal Range and Cascades. The cavernous wine making facility and tasting room has a superb outdoor area that is heated,covered, and well-ventilated for wine tasting. There are usually 5 to 6 small pours in a flight, but your wine rep might bringyou more depending on your tastes, and what you like. I had the pleasure of being guided through the estate's many deliciouswines by George Ball, who was outstanding on every level. The wines here are French in style, reminiscent of Burgundy chardonnayand pinot noir. Overall, this is one of the best tasting rooms I have experienced in Oregon or Washington. Appoints arerequired. 2022 Update: Still fantastic. The staff makes you feel welcomed and at home. The interior tasting room is now openagain. This is a very classy, World-famous estate vineyard owned by the Drouhin family of France. Over 200 acres of farmland in the... Dundee Hills area of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. My wife an I were seeking a particular vintage to give as a gift and thehigh praise for Domaine Drouhin’s Pinot Noir led us here on an October Saturday in 2021. We were not disappointed.
