My siblings & I drove an hour from Orlando to grab some chow after the football game. Mrs. Debra is amazing! She is... professional, polite, and made sure we were taken care of. For what ever reason the place was under staffed. 1 server for all those tables. The food was good and I don't blame the server... but it is not a good dining experience when you have to wait while the only person on the floor has to answer the phone, takeorders cash people out and serve seated customers. I give her credit she did her best but the business as a whole to operatelike this is just not favorable to influencing patrons to return. Read more
Waited for around 30 min to get a table. Waited for about 20 min to get a drink order then waited 20 min to get a food order and... drinks came same time food came. The server came back after being Mia to tell us sorry she's busy. I understand you can be busybut is it really normal to not get your drink until you get your food? Read more
Always a fun stop that brings back wonderful memories of me and my dad eating at the IHOP across the street from the El Caribe... in Daytona. Got in town late the other night and stopped in to get a bite to eat with them. I had to try the strawberry frenchtoast and it was really good with my cup of coffee. Arrived here shortly after they opened (6 am ) wasn?t sure how we?d be received. We were quickly greeted by our friendly server,... seated and brought our own little coffee pot right away. We ordered a 2+2+2 , (2eggs scrambled, 2 buttermilk pancakes & 2strips of bacon ) . We also ordered the breakfast sampler (2 eggs over easy , 2 sausage links , 2 pieces of ham, 2 buttermilkpancakes and hash browns! Every item was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. 4.5 Stars. Can real close to 5 stars. Our server was fantastic ????. I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat. She came back 4... times giving me a good amount of time to decide each time. Never made me feel rushed. Her attitude stayed positive and friendly.Topped our coffees off often. Checked on us throughout the meal. She really took care of us. The food was pretty good anddecently priced. They need to add more gravy for their biscuits. My husband didn't get enough for on his. So half his biscuitwas left on the plate. My food was really good. Though the scrambled eggs were just a tad dry. The hash browns were tender anddelicious. My meal came with strawberry banana french toast. That was really good too. This was a great spot in a great location! We stayed across the street so it was very convenient to walk over. We were greeted... and seated right away. Our server, Rose, was amazing, always had a smile and was very polite! Props to this IHOP (idk if othersdo this) for having paper straws. Our table was by the window, everything was clean and our food came in a very timely manner.Our breakfast selections were fresh, hot and filling when they were served and the prices were just right. Perfect variety ofmenu selections, as well. If and when we return to the area, I would definitely return to this location. Thank you! Read more
I was so impressed at the kind, happy and perfect service we received. We were greeted with a happy smile. Our order was taken... promptly and tge waitress knew the men and offered so many suggestions. All our food was cooked to perfection. Sadly I haven'tvisited in a while, but that will change now.
