What an amazing and well run place. If you find yourself in Daytona this is the most zen place to be. The ambiance is way better... than I expected and the food is off the charts amazing. Prepared to be impressed. The drinks were amazing. The curry wasperfect blend of spices. The cucumber salid with the peanut sauce was so delicious. The wait staff are a good team. I am backagain. The bar and outdoor seating is beautiful, but the flavor and food quality does not match the ambiance. The Thai food here does... not taste like it is made from real Thai ingredients. The flavor is not authentic enough to truly enjoy. If you?re notaccustomed to asian dishes and you want to start getting used to Thai food then you could go here if you?re not looking for theauthentic Thai flavor. The sticky rice was not sweet at all. The Thai tea was good. The food portions are small and the pricesare high. The food here is not very filling, this would be an okay place to go for brunch or dinner with the girls if you caremost about a unique and pretty place to meet up. Read more

Amazing place with a great ambiance. Sat outside as it was a beautiful day. Our server was extremely nice and has lots of great... recommendations. I had Basil sauté with fish and shrimp HOT! It was incredibly good. Also tried the chicken satay with anamazing peanut sauce. Mom had the eggplant sautée. Food was 6 stars out of 5. The flavor was amazing and I can?t say enough.Definitely stop by if you are in the area. You have never tasted Thai like this. Read more

Found a dash of ZEN and a true GEM while on vacation in Daytona Beach recently. Very welcoming entry way that opens up to a... relaxing and quaint garden patio that incorporates luscious bamboo, wind chimes, fire pit, and a water fountain. While that's aplus....the creamy, rich, and flavor filled Thai food was the STAR! You could taste that it was cooked to order, when it wasordered, with nothing but the freshest ingredients. So you can be assured your food is not sitting on a hot plate waiting to beserved! The portion sizes were big enough for 2 people to share and possibly even take home a little extra for a midnightsnack. Pricing was even on point! To top things off, the family run establishment treated us like we were some sort of SPECIAL!Everyone we spoke to were informative about the ingredients and cooking process. Even telling us about their favorite dishes! Welive roughly 2 hours away and WE WILL travel back just to go enjoy more of their Thai dishes. I want to try EVERYTHING on themenu, and you will too after just one visit! Pics are of the entrance to the garden patio, our appetizer of Fresh Rolls (Ricenoodles, tofu, lettuce, and Thai basil leaves wrapped in rice paper, served with the BEST Thai Peanut Sauce I've ever tried andwas assured it was made on site), and our main dinner dish of Pineapple with Chicken Curry (Red curry paste cooked with coconutmilk, pineapple, bell pepper, green beans, peas, zucchini, Juicy chicken breast pieces and Thai basil). Because we shared, theyeven split our portions up for us to appreciate individually. ENJOY! Read more

Amazing, relaxing lunch with a friend! She had never been to Zen Bistro, so was really looking forward to a new experience. We... started with a couple of Thai rolls. She also ordered the Thai tea. Both were colorful and flavorful. I like to think of myselfas adventurous, but my friend surprised me by selecting duck and spicy noodles with medium spice (she had never had either, butthoroughly enjoyed them). By comparison, I went with a safe choice of beef and wai wai noodles with mild spice. Absolutely doneto perfection! FYI - they offer mild, medium, hot and Thai hot. I typically choose one level lower than I think I can handlewith excellent results. I always manage to snag a booth, which makes for a somewhat more private conversation in this livelyenvironment. The servers strike a perfect balance of friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. There are a good number of angledparking spots on the street (I try to arrive by 11:45 on weekdays). Upon entering the courtyard, you are greeted by a waterfeature, plentiful outdoor seating and a bar. This restaurant is a gem on the western edge of the newly renovated Beach Streetarea. Read more

Enjoyed a fine lunch today (19 May 2022) at the Zen Bistro. Excellent Thai food, we shared the shrimp salad, pork Pad Thai and,... for dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice...all were excellent. Excellent craft cocktails at the patio bar, hand made, not mixed up ina plastic bottle last Thursday and poured over a large glass of watery ice. The restrooms were clean and the whole restaurant ishandicapped accessible. We'll definitely be back, this place would be an asset in any city. Read more

Very good Thai food. Good service. Nice atmosphere outside on patio with a bar. We had the green mussels with a brown sauce for... an appetizer. The Mussels were really good as was the sauce but it was very rich. For entre we had chicken and vegetables in apumpkin curry. It was delicious. We had to order more rice just to soak up and eat the leftover sauce. ???? Read more

We really loved the atmosphere, sitting in the outside area. The servers were excellent and the food was amazing. All in all we... were really happy about finding this restaurant and would definitely recommend it. The only thing to note is that the portionsizes aren't that big. Edit: we ate here again for dinner. The food was great again. It was much more expensive but the portionsizes were also bigger. Still very worth it. Read more
