So this was my first time at El Ranchito in DeKalb. The food is very Tex-mex, so if that's to your liking, it's pretty good.
Great food at a great price, and they don't skip on portions.

They have the BEST MEXICAN food I have ever eaten......anywhere..... their pica, guacamole , beef enchiladas, rice and beans are... the best. No....franchise I have ever been to..is this good!!!!! Service was terrible! Waited 10 minutes to get menu and then waitress acted like it was a real chore. As people finished... their meals the tables were just left with dirty dishes. People came in and had to wait for table to be cleaned. We, andeveryone that came in after us, were given Styrofoam cups for our drinks because there were no clean glasses. The atmosphere was great. Waitress was very nice. The restaurant was very clean. Had the lunch special 2 tacos rice and... beans 6.99. Taco meat was extremely bland. Went for lunch on Sunday. Small place, and had to wait a few minutes to get a table. I had the Chile Relleno, with beef and... spicy cheese sauce. My wife had the 3 enchilada platter, and everything was hot and delicious. Read more
