I think the food at Bleu is good, nothing crazy, but for the area it's worth a stop. Besides my server there wasn't much as a... peep from the rest of the staff. Good thing my server was one of the most upbeat people I've ever met, I'd likely have given abad review. I'd come back for lunch, they seem to have a great pre fixe option. As I travel, I always search the areas I?m in for new spots to try! I?ve had this one flagged for quite some time and finally... decided to stop. Bleu is a fine dining restaurant with a rustic chic decor, fancy yet friendly! Tonight they had a fish I havenever tried before, so I had to give it a go. Grilled Hawaiian Moonfish - with Charred Bok Choy, Sesame vinaigrette & JalapeñoCitrus Salad. This fish was firm but yet flakey and melted in my mouth, no fishy taste at all! Opah- Commonly known as(moonfish, sunfish, kingfish, redfin ocean pan, and Jerusalem haddock), are large, colorful, deep-bodied pelagic lampriformfishes. In 2015, this fish was studied and found to have near full body endothermy, in which the entire body is 5 degreeswarmer than the surrounding water. From the moment I walked in- I fell in love with this place. The combined decor, service and atmosphere sets the tone for an... almost, expected, elegant experience. Today I sampled a fabulous cocktail paired with 2 lunch options. The food was on theaverage side but I feel a young cook behind the grill combined with new menu options might be the reason for this. Was referred to this restaurant by many friends figured I?d give it a try, the moment I walked in I already knew that I?d be... back, the smell of fresh cooked meat on the grill and the friendly faces we were greeted with. This was like one of those topnotch places with a flash back from the past with the monster ink ceilings. Most definitely will be back at this place to tryout more delicious meals and the excellent dessert. All and all a great experience! Read more
If you are looking for a romantic yet cozy experience this is the place! It felt like Christmas with the wood detail interior... and pine accents around the restaurant. The customer service was out of this world! I highly recommend the fried oysters, notbeing an oyster lover myself, I couldn?t get enough!! I even requested a cocktail with egg whites and the bartender was glad toaccommodate me, creating her own concoction catered to my taste! Amazing service, food, and atmosphere, especially for dining at 8:15pm, approaching closing time. Our server Jonathan (?? tall,... glasses, mustache) was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. He made us feel very comfortable! I have been here twice. Yes it is pricey, but it has been good. Last time was September 29th, 2022. There were four of us and we... had a variety. The calamari were very good as the goat cheese curds were as well. The feedback from our table was the thatshrimp and grits, the mussels, and the smoked beef and Spanish rice were all very well done.
