Excellent food and drinks, plus great service. Nice outside patio, too!
I?m working in town from Milwaukee, and maybe I?m just spoiled with excellent Mexican restaurants in the city, but this was a... disappointment. I came alone based on a family recommendation, I sat at the bar, and the bartender was great. Very attentive andgood conversation. I asked for a Michelada and was just given a Dos Equis with some tomato juice in it. I agreed, but itdefinitely wasn?t what I was craving, and what I?m used to. I asked for HOT salsa with the chips, and she brought be a greensauce from the kitchen. It had zero flavor, and I think regular salsa was hotter. She took it back. After looking at the menu,I decided on the ?cali? burrito. I?m not going to knock portion sizes because this burrito was gigantic, but upon my first biteI got a very large piece of gristle in the chicken. I had two more bites to give it a chance, but got another piece of gristle.I wasn?t going to continue. Inedible, and the chicken tasted like the stuff you get frozen, precooked/precut in a bag at agrocery store. I told the bartender that I wasn?t going to eat anymore. I paid for my drink, tipped and left. Maybe I just cameon a bad night, but I likely won?t be back here again. Slow.service tonight, and they had staff running everywhere. Had the steak fajitas, and the dish was 80%+ onions, 10% peppers,... 10% steak straps. Worst fajitas I have ever had. We were excited to try this place! Unfortunately that excitement quickly faded upon receiving our food. The shredded lettuce was... rotten, the shredded cheese was moldy, and the fajitas had no flavor. We wanted to love this place but will not be coming back. Read more

Friendly service and nice atmosphere. The tacos are fantastic. Plenty of chips and salsa and we usually add some pepper jack... queso. Good margaritas too. Mexican street corn has a little too much flavor. The after dinner drinks are delicious. Read more
Amazing place!! Highly recommended. Food, drinks, and service all excellent! Came for restaurant week; we were able to be seated... immediately in the beautiful outside patio. Free chips and salsa! Had margaritas and pina colada and nachos for apps; steaktacos and burritos for dinner; fried ice cream for dessert--had 1 serving for 3! THEN free after dinner drinks! WOW! All veryflavorful and freshly made. Definitely preferred outside seating to inside. Overall great experience for our first time-- wewill be back this summer! Read more
First time here. Margaritas...ordered blended strawberry, a little heavy on the tequila...but I'll adjust lol. Overall, very... good. Had a burrito, skipped the queso and red sauce, did spicy verde, absolutely amazing. Quick service, hot food, my orderwas 100% spot on and very good. I wish I knew more Spanish to adequately thank our server ( who had limited English), buthoping a heavy tip made it clear how happy we were with both the food and the service.
