The Perch is absolutely delicious ????????. A double and triple basket was 45 take out and definitely worth it.
First, know that I LIKE salt. Second, please, stop the insanity. We ordered the Hindenburg sandwich with tater tots and... pretzel bites, yup, with cheese ????. Sadly, so salty and greasy we couldn?t eat it. Kevin, the owner was more than put out. His employee was nice, however, so she adds to the ranking from one to two stars. They WERE busy?perhaps an off day, BUTbecause the owner was snippy, we won?t be back. Many other spots to spend our money. Read more
DON?T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!! Go to Caliente?s or Eat30! This was my first experience going to this restaurant/bar. It was my... bf and I, so only 2 people ordering on a Tuesday night. They were steady that night & not busy. When we walked in a server cameright to us and took our drink orders. Then 20 mins passed, the table next to us came in at the same time & got served theirdrinks and their food. We had not been asked to order our food yet. The table next to us that was served told the server ?youshould probably serve them? & she said okay & continued to go bartend. We noticed a group of 3 people came in 20 mins after usand they also were served their drinks and food right away. 30 mins go by and we wave our server down and she puts up her handsaying ?one minute?. Then a guy comes and takes our order. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with jalapeños on the side. Theserver kept saying okay so the jalapeño burger. & i had to repeat my simple order 3 times to him. Remind you this is on aTuesday & they weren?t busy. Well 45 mins later we ate our appetizer and then waited some more for our burgers. We had such badservice we finally decided to walk out. We wasted our Tuesday night after work just wanting a good meal. We then went to Eat30down the street and had our food in front of us within 15 minutes. Otherwise Caliente?s across the street is also good too! Theservers were also saying hey and hi to customers walking in, I am guessing they are regulars and they are the ones who getserved first and who are writing all the good reviews. Read more
Ordered food online through the eat streets service they provide. Order accepted went to go pick it up 45 min time. Got there to... a closed, locked, business. Website said open, order was accepted, credit card was charged. Hmmm so then I call and a girlanswers the phone I tell her what happened she says call eat streets. Ummm what no I said you were open per your site? you wereaccepting eat street orders and if you weren?t open that?s on you. You call eat streets. I said you took my money not eatstreets She says hold on. Then a guy gets on phone says I don?t deal with eat streets. I said you must you utilize the companiesservices and clearly this was a inconvenience for your paying customers since somebody didn?t put not accepting orders or thatyou were even closed. I asked if they stop accepting orders when kitchen is closed he said yeah but I don?t deal with this stuffbye. So then I call eat streets a company which isn?t the easiest to contact lots of emails etc. Moral of story a simple hey weran your order when we opened a day later and took your money come grab a gift card or we will make you your food would havebeen an option. I would of let them keep the 5$ tip and not given a review. What a joke check this place off our list. Thumbsdown thumbs up to Eat street for the refund. Read more
First time checking out the place - can't remember who recommended/how I heard about the place; and it was not a good first... impression. Pretty busy Friday night, so I can understand the wait for a beer and water and menus. However, after 20-25 hungryminutes when I am ready to put a five on the bar and walk out so I finish my beer, the bartender finally asks if we'd like toorder. Went over to Calientes. Eating a good meal in the same amount of time. Have to wonder if all the good reviews arefrom the regulars who were being checked on while we sat there. Read more
We (8 people) went to Charterhouse for an early supper on Friday, July 9, 2021. We were celebrating 2 medical students and... their White Coat Ceremony. The food was excellent! Most of us had the perch or halibut for the main course. So ????delicious! On top of that, the waitress and waiter were attentive and kind. Our glasses were not empty, and (I assume) themanager came to check on us too. Thank you staff and cooks that made this day especially perfect for my family and friends. WeWILL be back! Read more
