What a great experience, I have avoided sushi most of my life but my wife loves it so I surprised her with dinner tonight and... even committed to trying ?new things?. All I can say is it is great. Island Sushi in De Pere has truly gone to the top of my list for local sushi places! I've gone here the last 2 Wednesdays and... each time it's been nothing short of amazing. Even when we get there late at 8pm due to work (they close at 8:30pm onWednesdays) they have been extremely accommodating and are pleased to have us there for service. The staff has been exceptional.The host has greeted us immediately and there's always a short wait. While waiting the bartender, Seth is stellar and makesgreat old fashioneds. We've done ayce at the center bar and all of the chefs are great including John! The staff are great forsuggesting items and rolls to try. Everyone is very genuine and personable. Our favorites rolls are the hidden gem, kamikaze,the red dragon, the black dragon and the volcano with their special extra spicy sauce! Love it here! Read more
I haven't been here since before COVID but the new location is nice. The summer sangria was great and the conveyor belt of food... was something I haven't seen around here before. For 2 drinks, 2 sodas, and 2 people for buffet/conveyor the bill was about $80 Read more
