Island Sushi in De Pere has truly gone to the top of my list for local sushi places! I've gone here the last 2 Wednesdays and... each time it's been nothing short of amazing. Even when we get there late at 8pm due to work (they close at 8:30pm onWednesdays) they have been extremely accommodating and are pleased to have us there for service. The staff has been exceptional.The host has greeted us immediately and there's always a short wait. While waiting the bartender, Seth is stellar and makesgreat old fashioneds. We've done ayce at the center bar and all of the chefs are great including John! The staff are great forsuggesting items and rolls to try. Everyone is very genuine and personable. Our favorites rolls are the hidden gem, kamikaze,the red dragon, the black dragon and the volcano with their special extra spicy sauce! Love it here! Read more
I haven't been here since before COVID but the new location is nice. The summer sangria was great and the conveyor belt of food... was something I haven't seen around here before. For 2 drinks, 2 sodas, and 2 people for buffet/conveyor the bill was about $80 Read more

1st timer - excellent. 1st a greeter welcomed us. Bar was great - very reasonable prices. Very cozy & friendly bartender. We... were seated at the conveyor belt area. Amazing - the food that was on the rotating food bar was very appealing & just the rightamount. Of course it's all you cam eat at one price which works great for people whom love to sample things. The main meal youoder & you may get a hole or half order so I did half. Plenty to eat & again after they serve you they go on to next in linearound the bar to come back to you to put in another different order. The waiter checked on is alot & I felt they really careabout they're customers as they were so friendly & served us fast. My son & his family come here alot & now I know why. The foodwas FRESH - TASTED & SMELLED like it should. Enjoyed the preparation of food in front of us. Amazing how the employeesinteracted nice to each other & customers. When we had a brief wait we sat at the bar and our bartender Seth was a star- knowledgeable, acknowledging, fun and talkative-... all the qualities of a good bartender/ server and even was up for letting me invent a drink based off of what he had- a truestar and attribute to your team!! Our experience with dining was as always very enjoyable. The server who sat us, Nick, wasprompt and polite and on the ball for all of our needs The sushi was fantastic of course- they had these amazing crabcrostini?s that were on the conveyer belt that I was obsessed with! Though we had to wait for more than an hour, it was totally worth it! My wife and I loved all the sushi that came by us on the... conveyor. And the sushi chefs made several delicious rolls that we requested as well. The drinks were also good and there wereeven some desserts on the conveyor. We miss the water with the floating boats but the plan to visit the Appleton location toexperience that again. I highly recommend Island sushi for an awesome dining experience and delicious gourmet sushi! Read more
We had such a good time here. Service and food was perfect. The rotating sushi bar was pretty fun to watch too.
