Went here on 11/13/22 @9pm. Love this place. Will be back. They have very reasonable prices and we just wanted to grab a late... night snack. We had the loaded potato soup and some appetizers. All very good. Perfect valence of bacon, Cher Amy soup, lots ofpotato?s. I forgot to take pics of the food which means I need to come back and get some food and take pics and update myreview Staff is very professional and hard working. Inside is clean. Love the look and feel of this place. Bartender took ourorder right away, food was out in 5 minutes which is good, considering it was pretty full. Located next to St No wet College siu get college folk in there but demographically lotta young and old there. For apps, breaded mushrooms and sweet potatofries!!! Yum! . Apps along with the soup, all hot and fresh. On a cold night it really hit the spot. I am thinking when thepack play this Thea night I may have to just drop in to check out some of the game but order something small- and yes- take somepics- They have pizza on the menu and I saw one come up- it looked really good! All good food- hot and fresh and I ate way toomuch. Good company with my friend. Took in a play at St Norbert, not too loud so we didn?t have to yell over the crowd or aband. Just a cool place u just never will find anywhere else but in De Pere WI . If u like the sweet potato fries, if all u dois stop in for a quick beverage- get the sweet potato fries. Lots of neat stuff on the walls. Pool table off to the side.Plenty of seating at the bar or tables. Great place. Highly recommends. I didn?t do a review last year. Good pub with a great atmosphere and 30 beers to choose from. The food was pretty daggum good. Had the burger and house fries.... Not bad at all. Friendly staff, made the experience that much better. Read more
I have been in contact with the owner, He wants to make it right. We had a nice conversation so I'm recinding my review. He is... working with his staff and is correcting the problems. I rate his attempt as 3 stars. Give the place a try and keep an eye onhow things improve. Don't go here.... service lousy, slow service, waitress only came to table when flagged in. Food was notgood. Big portions price right BUT expect to pay 3% fee if you use a card. Even charge us the fee with paying cash. Over chargedmy wife for the burger. The bun was so hard ot was like a potato chip. All sandwiches were dried out. All we had was sandwichesand a soda but it took us an hour and a half. I will never come back. If I could give no stars I would. Read more
We knew there may be a delay in food due to a wedding coming, fine. Server took awhile to come take our order and then as we sat... waiting after eating had to ask for our bill as we stared waiting for it to come. Service overall was mediocre. The food was allextremely overcooked. Between burgers, chicken wings, Philly and French dip. One person in our group didn?t eat his food andjust asked for a refund as no one was really enjoying their food (so wasn?t interested in getting something new) but eating onlyas we were starving. They took off a couple of dollars from the bill that was it. Then as we left and were getting our familywith young children in the vehicle the waitress boyfriend came out and shouted that don?t worry I will take care of mygirlfriends tip. Mind you we left a tip of just about 15% which to be honest was more than adequate for what we received. Thatwas completely inappropriate and uncalled for. We will not be returning. Read more
The Abbey. Historical Site across St Norbert College. Carey, owner, Monumentally friendly, wait staff absolutely amazing. Ask... for Heather, sever as well as chef, will never disappoint, above and beyond customer service; Jacob, amazing chef. "Cheers"type atmosphere. Buck Burger night is always a favorite. Thin patties so I suggest doubling up. Pizza is pretty good too. Love the 30 beer on tap... selection. Outdoor patio is nice and inside has a lot to look at as well. Read more
Was there for a late dinner Saturday night. Busy, but given the current atmosphere of struggling business, had no problem... waiting. We ordered a pizza, which we received ice cold, cheese wasn't even melted. We had to send it back. Although thewaitress offered make us another, by that point it was just too late. No dinner for us. I guess I just wished they would havetaken a drink off of our bar tab or something as an "I'm sorry", but they did not offer. Everyone was friendly enough, butwould not be compelled to return. The service was fine however I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun and when I got it the bun was still partially frozen and... the it made the food cold. Read more
