Son and I eat there a lot do to our town having few choices. Tonight I got the nachos get it home only to have absolutely no... melted white cheese on the nachos. What an outstanding lunch I had yesterday at El Patrone. My server was Bianey and she was just as good as you can be. Chips,... salsa and cheese sauce was perfect. Chimichanga was perfect. The food was delivered so fast. I will go back often. Read more

Excellent quality food, fantastic service, and decent atmosphere. I?ve never had a bad meal here and it?s exactly what you... should expect for Mexican food. The wait staff don?t let your glasses or chips go empty and are great at anticipating what youneed next. While the atmosphere didn?t start heat, being a former KFC/TacoBell combo store, they?ve really made it inviting witha bar, multiple TVs, and comfortable seating. We live in Lenexa but after our trip to El Patron tonight, we will make the 20 minute drive from now on when we want Mexican.... The staff was friendly and professional, the food was great, and the menu wasn't expensive. My family had a great lunch... experience at El Patron. Update: the food is still very good! However, the service wasn't what it used to be. I could tell thatthere were good servers there, but ours simply wasn't one of them. For example, the server didn't seem very familiar with themenu (had to open it and point to the seafood enchiladas), one of the plates had to sent back because it had multiple toppingswhich were requested to be 86'd, the sides weren't correct on multiple plates, and some other minor details. All-in-all, I willbe going back, it was still a good experience, I just hope that next time the service is just a little better. Read more
