Now what do we all go to McDonald's for? Either Happy meals for the kids, or The Fries. I don't know about anyone else but I... like my fries to be piping hot, it's the only way to eat them. They are delicious when they're hot, not so much when they'renot. And unfortunately at this McDonald's they're usually not. Couple that with your order almost always being wrong, and thefact that they're app hardly ever works, you get barely 3 stars from this big kid. Read more

I had all but given up on fast food. The town that I live in (not DeSoto) has a few fast food restaurants. I am never thanked... for coming when I visit these places, I'm treated like I'm inconveniencing them and the food is always cold and/or old. Iusually stop at the DeSoto McDonald's to use their restroom during my drive down to a campground in Potosi. The restroom isalways clean. During my last visit I was hungry as well so I went through the drive thru after using the restroom. I was thankedfor coming. My order was correctly repeated back to me. The line moved very quickly and when it was my turn to pay, I wasgreeted by a pleasant young man who gave me my total, said thanked me for my order and then tokd me to have a good day. Wow! Next I pulled up to the second window and was again greeted by a pleasanr young lady who thanked me for coming and theapologized because my food wasn't ready yet I had ordered a QP wth no cheese so I wasn't surprised. She asked me to pleasepull up to the next window. A couple of minutes later the same young lady brought my food to me. Apologized for the wait,thanked me for visiting and then told me to have a good day. I drove away with a smile on my face. Bonus: my food was hot andtaaty. I don't know if this store has a smart manager who knows that their salary is paid by customers. Drive customers awayand then there's no reason for that store to stay open. Well it would be great to get the order correctly which it was not. And when you recieve your triple cheeseburger(or whatever... sandwich) and you open the wrapper to find a clumped, crammed and pretty much nasty triple cheeseburger. So this was my triplecheeseburger and the one that was with the toppings (and my mom's was supposed to be plain and it was not.) Been really superfrustrating. And yeah people say, "it's fast food what did you expect?" I expect courtesy, I expect the correct order, I expectto have the food done properly and I expect that for the cost of fast food as a consumer please do all of this to keep customershappy and returning. Employees were friendly and very nice . I forgot to order an item and they were nice about getting it made for me in a timely... manner and didn't seam to be aggravated at all . The only thing was they forgot to provide straws for my 3 milkshakes which isonly a minor problem considering I have straws at home . Overall it was a good experience. Read more
