Great food. My chopped steak, mashed potatoes, and soup were all excellent. The pepper steak soup was especially good. Service... was fantastic. The waitresses were knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. I tried to think of something to criticize but couldn'tfind anything. Police, Fire, and active Military get 50% off their entree. Love the restaurant people so nice they kept checking on us so often I felt loved. Even other waiters and waitresses said hi... throughout the meal. Highly recommend the crepes I got the plain this time but will get all the fixings next time. ???????????? Read more
Not a busy location. Walked in and was seated quickly. Ordered two orange juices, and two turkey skillets minis mushrooms. Food... was out within 3 minutes. Cheese was not melted on skillet and food was warm, not hot. Bummer?Potatoes were a bit salty.?Location is a little dated. Read more
The 1st time I visited this establishment the food was better the 2nd time it was just mediocre I ordered a tuna melt and the... cheese was not even melted it was basically a cold tuna sandwich The prices are pretty steep. I don't think I would return Read more
This is the same business that I remember from 35 years ago, only the name has changed to . The owner Rex has been here since... 1979, and I remember the food was good then, just as it is now. Our waitress was very attentive. We started with chicken noodleand I had cabbage soup. My friend ordered a patty melt with onion rings, and I had to BLT. Sorry I didn't get pictures of thesoup, but both were super delicious. The patty melt Was Juicy, with just the right amount of cheese. My lblt was also done toperfection. After I are meal, she told us of the assortment of cakes that they had. Me being a foodie decided on the chocolateraspberry, which I decided is actually a black forest cake. They also had Cherry nut oh, and other very creamy Delight. TheTaste was just as good as the Cheesecake Factory but at half the price. As you know I'm always a "check the bathroom"cleanliness girl and I like to check the air vents. I must say the vents and bathrooms were super clean. Sorry but ?. VERY disappointing experience and probably I will never come back :( I came for lunch with my husband after... seeing many good reviews to try their crepes on Sunday around noon. When I got there, parking was packed but inside there wereat least half of the tables open. We were seated right away but it took 10min to just get water. Another 10+min to place anorder and another 10+min to get our food? My husband was getting hangry, he had to flag a server to place an order, which wasrerouted to the lady assigned to our table, but the other server was so nice she brought us water and coffee? If at least thefood was good, we would?ve been okay but my crepes looked golden brown on the outside but when I bit in, it was doughy,undercooked, pretty much raw batter :( so disgusting and disappoint to say the least. Husbands food seemed okay but his toastsdidn?t come and the nice server stationed for the table next to us brought him toasts, noticing there was something wrong withour order. Perhaps it was just that our waitress was having a bad day and kitchen was short staffed or something but we werenot pleased and quite disappointed to say the least. Wide variety of menu choices. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Though tasty, the portion size of the dearborn ham on my grilled... ham and cheese sandwich was very thinly sliced and not enough to cover my bread. The side greek salad was good especially due tothem having the pink greek dressing. Family enjoyed their breakfast. It was moderately priced for the ample size portions. Read more
