Do I love this place? Yes. I have been traveling from Ohio for years just to have this place. The food is so hot and fresh and... tasty. I always get too excited and eat the food too quickly and burn my mouth but it is worth it. I highly highly recommend thefahsah. It's a stone bowl dish that sizzles and it makes everyone in the restaurant jealous as it passes by and say "I wantwhatever that is". I would give this place 5 stars but today the service was just... A lot. Like they were nice but there were 2servers and they both came to check on us and interrupted the conversation probably 4-5 times during our meal. They also made usfeel a little rushed. We weren't done eating... Just taking a break and was asked if we wanted a box. The place wasn't even busyso I don't know why the rush and why they felt the need to pop up and check on us so much. It started to become annoying. Onceor twice is one thing, coming over to refill when we needed one is another thing, but it was too much. The food was good, but my expectation was a tad higher. We ordered lamb Haneeth, the meat was not salted in one side, too much... salt in another side. We took the Dearborn Restaurant week deal. Good value for money. I?d still pick Yemen Cafe in Hamtramackover this. Otherwise, the place was neat, friendly staffs. Read more

Fresh Yemeni food. Lamb soup is one of the best. Overall everything we ordered was very good. Definitely going back again!
Vegetarian friendly place. Dishes that I food really good were Sheeba Vegetarian platter and Falafel sandwich with humus! Food... that I didn?t enjoy so much was Fattosh salad ( I thought the pita chips had an after taste and were too oily) and the VeggieGhallabah dish( it wasn?t zesty enough) Place has private parking area.
