Quality of food has definitely went down over the years unfortunately. I only go to the bar area as the rest of the restaurant... feels dirty to be in. Bar is a nice seating area with views of the TV and the main road right out the window. The waitressalways seem rude or rushed while taking orders. Food is never consistent with taste but good portion size. You definitely won'tfinish your meal. But for the price the taco stand wipes the floor with them with price and taste. Read more
Wasn't horrible but for sure missed the mark. We were able to get in within about 20 minutes but the place was forsure a little... unorganized. The food was not that great either. Delicious food. Friendly atmosphere. Great time with friends. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. Very... tasty and portion size left enough for lunch the next day. My husband the burritoes. He enjoyed his as well. Parking can betricky. The place is always packed. I recommend for lunch or dinner. Read more
We were greeted and promptly seated but despite the restaurant not being full at all, we were seated at the very BACK END of the... restaurant. There was food on the floor under the table and in the folds of the bench seat where we sat. The waitress was kindwhile taking our order, brought out HOT/FRESHLY BAKED chips and got my strawberry daiquiri out to me quickly. Our food arrivedhot and pleasing to the eye. We ordered nachos which were pretty good but the 'ground beef' was a bit greasy ... there were twotypes of salsa for the chips, mild and hot? I preferred the mild but it wouldn't come out of the container so I ended up usingthe hot which was a turn-off. The food was phenomenal today. Their potions are amazing. You can feed 2 people for 30$ and still have left overs. The avocados... ???? were fresh. Only complaint I can say is they need a new dish washer, alot of the silverware is some what cloudy. Gottarinse a little better. Highly recommend them. Staff was friendly. Read more
Always good, found a new meal that i liked with scrambled eggs, beef and veg..get there early to avoid some crowds
We have been enjoying this fabulous Dearborn Heights restaurant since it was a small building in the late 1970's. It has... expanded and there is a second location in Canton. The Botana is our favorite item on the menu. We love that they serve coleslaw as a side dish to the entrees. The cold crunchiness is a wonderful compliment to the hot rice or beans. Stopped in Halloween weekend, not super busy, sat immediately! Ordered the full nachos! Oh my word, these were a meal in... itself?definitely a yes of you like homemade chips smothered in beef and cheese! ???????? We shared the nachos and a combo meal!I love the homemade tamale and the cheese enchilada I?d addicting!
