I went into Pepe’s Cantina the other day with my family. I have to say I was pleasantly impressed. I was lucky enough to catch... the tail end of their spooky margaritas special for the month. Not only was it delicious, it was decorated so great! We orderedloaded fries and stuffed avocado for our appetizers and they were AMAZING! When we got our entrees we were even more impressed.The sauces, the seasoning, everything was great! Some of the best Mexican rice I’ve ever had! Outdoor patio option. Visited on a Saturday at 5pm. Average in terms of Mexican food flair. Refried beans and rice were bland.... Fresh salsa and queso plus chips were good. Staff was a bit chaotic in service - had to wave down the manager for a waterrefill. Cool front wall for your IG photos. Read more

We have been going to Pepe’s at the Winter Park location for a couple of years now and were very pleased to see the Debary... location open up down the road from us. The food is always delicious. The staff is amazing. Raul is such a beautiful soul andour server today, Carolina, was the perfect amount of attentiveness and personality. We will be back soon! Read more

Debary finally has a good Mexican restaurant. Pepe’s is located close to the dollar stores along 1792 in what used to be... Wong’s 8th Wonder Chinese Restaurant (actually it’s been a lot more than that throughout the years). We showed up onopening day, not sure what to expect. This place is busier than we’ve ever seen this building. Wow! And we didn’t have towait to get a table at 5:30 pm. The Good: The salsa is FRESH. Yes…FRESH. If you want flavored ketchup, go to Habanero’s,Amigo’s, or most any other Mexican restaurant in central Florida. The margaritas are amazing. We had both frozen and regularmargaritas over ice and neither disappointed. I had the steak quesadillas and my wife had the chimichanga. Ok, so she orderedchicken and got pork. It’s opening day. But the pork was really flavorful and is something to be desired. The bad: I’mhesitant to mention this because it’s not really bad but rather just okay…the refried beans. They were pretty soupy today,almost as if they needed to cook down a little more. But the flavor on them was still great. The place is a little pricey ($18for steak quesadillas is a lot). So it is the official grand opening today and let me tell you..... I am loving it! They have a full alcohol bar and a nice... selection on the menu they also have a vegetarian and vegan selection.
