What a great place. We were in this area doing some hiking and was recommended this place by Lady at hotel we were staying at.... What a unique place, right on St John's River. Beautiful views, food was good. The fish was fresh and the key lime pie wasprobably one of the best I've had. After we ate we went down to the water and sat on a bench and watched the sunset, saw severalalligators cruising by. Love this area and the old Florida feel. Read more
We love coming here to Swamp House. On the weekends we sit outside with our dog and usually there?s live music. We?ve always had... very friendly and attentive service when we?ve come too. Depending upon what day/time you come though, parking may be a littledifficult. Overall very good. ???? Read more
Went there on Mother?s Day. Food is not bad but nothing special. Service is alright. Very good environment, live music, nice... water view . Overpriced. Basically you come here paid for the view. Read more
Food and service was great. I had Strip Steak and my wife had clam & lobster Alfredo...which was loaded with crab & lobster.
Very good food. Comfortable seating. Great service. Loved the gator tail. Would definitely come back if in the area.
River front atmosphere! This is a very unique place to grab a beer or have a lunch. The burgers are excellent. Most of the fish... is deep fried, so if you?re not a fan probably not suggest selecting that as an option. Large selection of ice cold beers ontap. My family of six enjoyed this hidden gem of a restaurant very much. We definitely recommend the Gator bites for the appetizer... and we all tried various fish (mahi) and 3 of us ordered the Jammin Jambalaya (pictured). First time here. We came by boat which was a great option. The burger was cooked to order, and it was made right. The Cuban was... good. The plantains were perfect. The coleslaw was very good. The blue cheese and balsamic chips were out of this world.Definitely a must try. Read more
