The staff and service is top notch. They are very friendly and being my 1st time they were very helpful with helping me make my... decision ???? But I was very disappointed with the portions served. Ordered a BBQ sandwich and double onion rings as my 2 sidesand there was literally 6 small onion rings and the sandwich had hardly any meat. Two meals with 2 sides each was $17 andhonestly happy meals have larger portions. I'd only try again because the service was so great. Read more

As an employee of CookOut. I do apologize if anyone has a bad experience at CookOut. I work at a Birmingham location. Two weeks... after eating my first CookOut meal, I was employed with them. The food is cooked fresh to order as if you cooked it at home. Iknow all fast food businesses are struggling with help and with school going back now things could get worse. But at CookOut wewill always give you THE BEST SERVICE we can. Your food will always be hot and fresh to order no matter how short the help is.Just be patient with us as we prepare your order. First time eating here and it was a pleasant experience. They only offer drive thru and walk up window service. No dine in but... they do have a few tables outside. We chose to use the walk up window and eat outside. The burger was cooked well and had avery distinctive charcoal cooked flavor, which I liked. The fries and onion rings were cooked well and tasted good. Mygranddaughter had the chicken strips and she said they were ok but didn?t taste like ?regular? chicken strips. Not sure whatshe meant but she liked the fries and ice cream (shake). Overall I would say that it was worth it. I?ll eat here again. Read more

Burger was good, nothing special, a little on the smaller size. Fries were good. Milkshakes were kind of flavorless. They were... to thick to drink, if that's your thing. Read more
