My husband and myself came in about 4am one Sunday I believe. WON'T even LIE since MY previous 2 experiences at the other 2... waffle houses here in Decatur I've absolutely refused to even entertain the thought of eating here. However I DIDN'T get MY way.Spoiled sorry! ANYWAYS, when we walked in automatically we were acknowledged unlike the other 2. They were ready to seat us.Extremely friendly, laid back and fun environment. I believe we were waited on by a Sydney. She was EXTREMELY EXTREMELYattentive and bubbly. She never ever rushed US! HONESTLY none of THEM rushed US. They were goofy, chilled,. IT was just a REALLYGREAT experience. I'll DEFINITELY visit this store again. Understaffed and did not see a manager on duty or at least not checking on customers. Ordered a Texas melt just made as usual... but came out with scrambled eggs and still not cooked through. The cook had a tantrum about having to re-make the order. Ourtable and a table next to us were harassed and embarrassed by the loud outspoken cook. She later she apologized in her own way. The re-make on my order was still undercooked. Needless to say we will never be back to this Awful House! We enjoy going toWaffle Houses and will visit those restaurants. Read more
This Waffle House is in the top 5% of Waffle House nationally. Traveling for kids sports with early stat times, you find... yourself at Waffle House before the sun rises pretty regularly. The staff at this one is great and it's really clean. Read more
Our first time here was visiting family. I would say everything was good except the cheese on my breakfast bowl. They put square... cheese and you could Definitely taste the fake taste which threw everything off. My son got pancakes and they added chocolate &peanut butter on it and it was way too much he couldn't even eat it Read more

The food and the service at this particular location was just wonderful.
