This was our second time eating at Diamond. It is very clean, friendly, good service, food is great. They have breakfast all... day, good soup choices....so far all have been great, salads are good..cold and crunchy, portions are large.. .always leavewith a togo box, and desserts are great! Hubby says fried perch is really good, not greasy and not too much breading, he likesthe breakfast too! Great place. Glad we tried it. Read more
We stopped for breakfast and they were very busy but we got seated fast. The food was great and left very full. Our waitress was... Ty and she was the best. Very friendly and checked in often. They have a big staff and they were all smiling and keeping tablesclean to seat new customers. We will definitely go back to try lunch or dinner. Read more

Saw the billboard. Decided to stop by. Nice atmosphere the manager was involved with the customers. Had soup and ALL you can eat... pasta. Feeling fat. Truly a hidden gem in Decatur! Our hotel receptionist recommended Diamonds when we asked about local eateries. We were not... disappointed! The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but we were promptly seated by a friendly hostess. Our waitress, Mariah,was very friendly and personable, and made us feel welcome. We decided on the Shrimp Fettuccini Alfredo with a chocolate shake,the Ribeye steak, and fried Walleye filets. Each dinner came with a salad which was brought to us within a few minutes. Ourdinners came right on time, as soon as we had finished our salads. The shrimp dish was creamy, hot and delicious. The pasta wasperfectly cooked, the shrimp was tender and not overcooked, the Alfredo sauce was tasty. The chocolate milkshake was fabulous!Not too thick, but not runny either. The ribeye steak was cooked to order, and had good flavor and texture. The walleye filetswere quite good, and included one extra! The side vegetable was cooked carrots, and they were done perfectly. The dessertselection display was incredible. Pies, cakes, etc. We opted for the chocolate cream pie, ordering two pieces between the threeof us, not realizing how big they would be! It was a great place with great staff and reasonably priced food that was very good. My waitress was very courteous and very... friendly and willing to help out wherever she could. I definitely recommend this place. If you're in a wheelchair, it's going totake some finagling to get in but it is not that difficult. Read more
