Initially skeptical, but now I am a believer! I decided to get chicken here based on the positive reviews. When I arrived I... realized the restaurant is inside a gas station -- what? Too late to turn back, I ordered a large family combo dinner withextra sides of rice & beans and mac & cheese. Simply put, everything was AMAZING, DELICIOUS! Normally they're pretty good. Tonight was horrible. Called ahead and ordered one simple container of their chicken cracklins... which they said would take four to five minutes. I drive the six minutes or so to get there and pay for them even though they'renot ready. Ten minutes go by and three other customers come up and place their orders and each one gets their food. Stillwaiting....and waiting. Finally I give up since my wife and son's dinner is out in the car getting stone cold. I figure it wasonly four bucks, no big loss to me. But unless they clean up their act with customer service, it's their loss in the end. Read more
The food here is amazing! The chicken is always cooked exceptionally well with the present, but not overpowering, seasoning and,... of course, the crispy skin. I also love the honey butter biscuits! It does not cost very much even to feed my whole family andthe kids are happy to eat it too. The food is ready very quickly and even for large orders they are very fast!
