The worst pizza place I have eaten! My first time at a Monical?s and def my last! My 13 yr old granddaughter and I went shopping... for the day and decided pizza for lunch. Many places to choose from but I had never eaten at Monical?s so that?s where we went.First of all it was fairly busy and only 2 servers. We were there a total of an hour and a half! Our server brought ourbreadsticks a LONG time after we ordered. Then about half hour later she brought the pizza. She never once checked on us .Finally after trying to get her attention without any luck, I got up and FOUND her to ask for a take home box and our ticket.Approximately another 10 or 15 minutes she brought it, UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE! When I got home and told my husband he said Ishould have asked for a manager. Actually I was too angry and disappointed to think of that! So that was my first and last tripto Monical?s. Pizza and garlic bread were burnt. First time that has happened to us here. Breadsticks and salad were great.
There are a lot of great places to eat at when we visit Shelbyville, but you have to be sure to make Monical's Pizza one of... them. I love their thin crust pizza, sandwiches, wings and salads (especially the French dressing). Great service, great pricesand great food! Read more
