The Olive Garden in Decatur just doesn't meet standards. The bread sticks are very sally? Not even faintly garlicky. I ordered... the Italian version of chicken soup (dumpling) and the dumplings were undercooked there was no spinach and there was greasearound the edges of the bowl. I ordered the "Tour of Italy" as my main course. The chicken (parm) wasn't tender and tasted as ifit were still frozen. Some of the fettuccini noodles were crispy? The lasagna was halfway decent. My son ordered a "ShirleyTemple". The soda was flat and had barley any cherry juice. He ordered the steak w/fettuccine noodles. He ordered it medium rareand it came medium well. His noodles were also "crispy" on the edges. I am not a picky eater but when my check was close to $100bucks I expected a decent meal. I will never go there again. The waitress was nice and because my son didn't want to feelembarrassed we paid and left As a side note ... I recently had gone to the Kalamazoo MI location and it was fantastic. I orderedthe same exact thing (the soup was delightful and the meal was delicious) We had 4 people. The bill was close to the sameamount? So, when I got back home I was excited to take my younger son out to eat and the experience was the exact opposite andmore expensive ???? Read more

Always loved dining in Olive Garden Decatur because staffs are lovely and very accommodating. Recently dined in with a toddler... and it was a great experience. They have this little tablet to keep toddler occupied while eating. Food is good. Overall greatvalue for money. Will come back often Read more

This a nice location to eat. Staff is nice, food is the usual fare etc. My beef (no pun intended) is with the "sliced grilled... chicken" in the chicken Alfredo. It's NOT a chicken breast. It might be breast meat remnants or other white meat or it might beprocessed to appear like white meat but the consistency is that of a pressed patty and not a true unprocessed breast. They fakedit pretty good but the texture is off.The flavor was fine but the texture was weird so went back and looked at the descriptionon the menu and saw a non specific "sliced grilled chicken" and not "grilled chicken breast". I'll still eat here again but I'llorder shrimp like I generally do. Read more

Food is yummy I think no need to review Olive Garden food. Very clean, interior is little bit dark. Staff is very friendly. I... love the way they greet. The way they take care of customers. Person who served food to us was very sweet. She kept checking usevery 5 minutes to take our inputs. She asked me if I need extra soup! Which is really nice. My daughter loves breadstick andshe refilled those. Good place to eat food. Don’t forget to tip them because what you give is what you get. (Respect)???????? Read more
