Myself and my 4 friends stopped here for a slice of pie. The peach pie was wonderful. It was like eating a slice of my mother's... peach pie. My friends had strawberry rhubarb, pecan and apple. They also said it was very very good. Next time I'm in Decorah,Iowa, I will most definitely stop here again!! Read more

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the town of Decorah. I had the steak and eggs omlette and my girlfriend has the fried chicken... special. Both meals were served promptly and hot. We were waited on very well and the servers made sure to keep my coffee full.The price of the meal was very reasonable compared to other diners in town. You know this place is good because alot of thelocal retired folks eat here and it can be hard to get seated. I would highly recommend! Read more
FT always delivers the good stuff. I'd forgotten how amazing the chicken fried steak w side o' gravy is on a blustery Spring... morning. And how can you beat a cup o' diner coffee in a palm sized cup? And the ladies make the experience just like eating atthe farm house. Love it! Read more
I ordered a philly cheesesteak and it didn't have any cheese so I mentioned it to the waitress who took it back in the kitchen... and put a slice of American cheese on it. Disgusting!!By the time she got back to the table my food was cold. Won't ever stop inthere again!! Read more
