I'd really only been there for chess night before, which used to be... cool before people got all serious (which is silly, because humans aren't really very good at chess compared to AlphaZero). It pains me to give The Landing such a poor review, but here?s what happened? The waitress at Justin?s was lovely, but the food... I was given to-go was missing the majority of the ingredients listed. I ordered the bbq chicken sliders and the salmonsalad. The salad was missing the queso fresco, strawberries, and blueberries. It?s $17, which may have been worth it if half theingredients weren?t missing. There was only one tiny slider without sauce or cheese. I asked about the side and they said no forsome reason, yet charged me $11 for a singular, dry shredded chicken slider. I should have just made my own food,unfortunately. Stopped here when we needed an outdoor space with our dog. We ordered some food from Justin?s and were absolutely able to get a... couple drinks. The food was pretty simple, fish tacos, tots, chicken burrito and fries, but it was good food. Good prices fordrinks as well, we got a beer and canned wine and were able to sit outside. Great option if you?re wanting food while drinkingat Pulpit Rock or avoiding the brewery because it?s busy. They have a couple other food/coffee/ice cream options here that wedidn?t try. Read more
Food hall with 2 eateries, juice bar, coffee bar and ice cream place. Best spot we ate in Decorah. Fresh salads at Justin's... & Norwegian Tacos were great. The sandwich spot is also a hit-fresh buns & real meats---not cold cuts from Walmart. Rightnext to Pulpit Rock brewing which is also a hit. Eat here. Read more
I am editing my previous review of the Landing and updating it from 3 stars to 5 stars. The management has taken huge strides to... improve the offerings of the market as well a clean clean seating area. Not a great place for studying since it can be quiteloud. Also the parking lot in front and back are small so save yourself the time and just park on the street near the dentistsoffice! Read more
Such a great atmosphere! The drinks at the buzz are always delicious and the fireplace is so relaxing!
