I really enjoy the food and service here very much. The price is quite high but the portion and quality is so worth it. I went... for lunch and sat outside but the seats at the bar look very tempting. I had fish Taco they were delicious! The fish was freshand juicy. My husband has steak frites it was very big and the truffle fries that came with it was nice and fat. I had a gooddinning experience there. Read more
Great atmosphere. Wonderful people. If you want a restaurant where they make you feel like your a part of their family that has... great food and drinks, this is your place! It sounds strange, but you have to try the grilled bacon with peanut buttersauce. The twisted fish tacos (Blackened Cod)were amazing! And, the baked Alaska was a great way to finish off the meal! If youcan’t get a table, try the bar where you can still get all the great food with a couple of large screen tv’s to enjoy thenights sports . Julie & Mike are wonderful hosts making sure everything goes just right. Every restaurant should care abouttheir customers the way this couple does! I know we’ll be back next week! We went back the other night to try their new"Summer" Menu and once again we were not disappointed. We started with the beet salad with ricotta, which was delicious, then Ihad the shaved prime rib sandwich which was great and my wife had the puff pastry chicken pot pie which was delicious! Great place! We came to have Easter lunch with friends. Beautiful inside, spacious and comfortable! Food was great and super... fresh! Mac and cheese was probably best I ever tried! Burgers were really good! I especially want to thank our waitress(unfortunately, don't remember her name). But she gave us the top notch service and her genuine smile was just beautiful! Birthday dinner with my girls. My BBQ steak tip was delicious and my drink was great I call it sweet sweet it was their... signature drink. It had a grapefruit flavor to it it was beautiful and perfect. Our waitstaff was attentive and wonderful. Busyon that Saturday but it was great experience. Read more
My wife came in for Valentine's Day 2022 and it was awesome. I ordered off the specials menu and got the sausage gnocchi and she... got a cod dish. The gnocchi was a just a little bit dry for me, but I still enjoyed it. There weren't that many people in thereeither so I could actually hear myself speak. We had dinner last night at Liberty & Main for the first time. The inside has not changed much from the old Aquitaine... Restaurant in terms of how the restaurant is setup. Positives: * We had reservations and were promptly seated *The WickedShrimp appetizer was very good as I enjoyed the diced and sweetened jalapeño accompaniment * We did not have the Wings or thefish tacos, but we saw a lot of those items being order by other diners so they must be worth a try * My wife said that hershrimp and corncake entree was very good * My BBQ steak tips were tender and tasted very good * Our servers and the manager werefriendly and helpful. Servers were very good in removing empty dishes from the table in between servings Opportunities: * Theonly selection of draft beer is from Castle Island Brewery so no variety of other draft beer brewery selections * While thePeanut Butter & Bacon appetizer tasted very good, there was way too many garnishments on the dish as they added a large amountof micro greens and diced neon green apples and peppers, which changed the taste and took away from overall platingappearance of the dish…just stick with only the PB and Bacon like Smith & Wolllensky Steak House. * Portion size of entreeswere small compared to the price…$25 steak tip entree had only 4 steak tips and the shrimp corn cakes could have been larger(see pictures). * The garlic mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes…I would recommend you substitute for Frenchfries, instead * The S’mores dessert was not freshly made… it was definitely previously made and placed in the freezer…itwas served frozen and hard as a rock * The Brownie dessert, while very good tasting, was served lukewarm warm and needed tobe served much warmer Overall, it was a pleasant meal, but over-priced for what you get.
