This UNO has been around for a while. It was a great place to eat, but my last visit wasn't to much to write home about. The... food was awesome! Came out hot and tasted amazing. I would recommend the chicken parm. However, the place smelled like a restroom. The table we were at was super sticky! Called in my salad at 1pm. Went to pick it up around 120pm. Waited for another 10 mins to actually get my salad to go. 30... minutes for a salad on my 30 minute lunch break. And when I went to pick it up there were only 2 customers at the bar and 3 attables. Unacceptable!!! Oh and it was $16.00. Read more
I was looking forward to my potato skin pizza. When I walked in the establishment it smelled a little raw. I asked to be seated... on the patio. Order a frozen martini that was not frozen , still trying to UNO’s the benefit of the doubt until I notice howdirty my table cloth was. Please clean your restaurant. I really love potato skin pizza. We don’t get to Unos often enough. We used to do trivia night often here and that was a treat in itself. Lately we make a trip... because we were close by and it didn’t disappoint. The flavors were just like they were Everytime we order there. The guy thathelped me was very friendly and was really well dressed something we don’t expect going there. Anyway. They used to have the best Chicken parm sub. Had one today, see the photo, it is so small that a French fry is almost as long.... They now use a salt roll, it has large pieces of salt embedded. Not good. The fries tasted like they were deep fried withseafood, could not eat them. Chicken was only good part. Read more
I have lived in West Roxbury for a year and am just trying Uno! I have a gluten allergy and was pleasantly surprised to learn... how accommodating they are. Today I ordered two gfree pizzas for carryout. The gfree crust is Udi's and I was told they alsoserve cauliflower crusts. I will definitely return to try the gfree burgers. The carryout service was great. Two pizzas in about18 mins and the staff was very pleasant. The menu also has vegan options. This would be a good place to go if there are mixeddietary needs. Placed an order online via Uno's own website not a third party. For whatever reason the order wasn't recieved on the restaurants... end. Despite having the order confirmation email to prove that both the order was placed and to the correct location AND a thepayment being taken from my credit card. They refused to do anything. Neither a refund or the order was offered. In fact it wasstrongly suggested that we lied about the order and the email "Could be from anything". After no resolution was given exept torepurchase what I'd already paid for we were instructed to call back later when the general manager got in. I did so and no oneanswered. I also submitted a "concern" to the website. No response on either. This was for our lunch and 30 min later we get tohave nothing for a nine hour shift. All of this over $27 for 2 pizza skins. Absolutely unacceptable in every way. From thecustomer service in the restaurant to the response time and complete lack of a resolution. Read more
