Good food, our waitress was excellent. It was an unexpected spot far from where one might find a eating place of this caliber.

I haven't been here for 25 yrs but joined some friends for dinner. Very good food, just as I remembered. Our nutty waitress... One of the best places to stop in for breakfast, try the omelets, they're huge and totally fantastic. The thing that compliments... delicious food is great service and you get both at Annie's happy spot! Stop in and feed ya face and meet some cool peeps whileyou're there ????! Read more
I have been going to Arnie's since I was 9 years old...I am now approaching 60 years old. This past year we took a sister's trip... and met friends at the place we have been obsessed with since we were very young...the BEST of the Best for fried chickenlovers. We actually travel to try out different supper club's to see if it even can come close to Arnies. After all these years,there is not one that beats Arnie's. However, we have not been back since the restaurant burned down and has since been rebuilt.I am afraid the original chicken recipe was burned with the restaurant. Back in the day, we would look at a panel of coloredlights from the kitchen and when one of the lights would light up to let the waitresses know an order was ready. We (9 of us)would always be hoping it was our order! Sometimes it took 40 minutes...but SO worth the wait. Unfortunately, the chicken doesnot taste the same. Don't get me wrong, it is good...but with the current recipe / frying process it falls in line with othergood supper clubs we have gone for fried chicken. The Happy Spot is about 2.5 hours away from our home, and we can get the same"good' chicken closer to our home. Bring back the old recipe....it was ALWAYS worth the trip! Thank you. Read more

Their salad bar is awesome! The chicken was too. I had the strips and my family had the chicken. Everything was hot and good!
