First time at Arrechissimo and the entire experience was great. The owner was incredibly personable and welcoming. We had the... Pabellon Bowl (white rice, sweet plantains, shredded beef, and two arepas) and a beef & cheese empanada that came with spicycilantro sauce. We really enjoyed the food and it was incredibly filling. We're new to Cincinnati and still trying to find ourspots, but this is definitely one we'll be returning to. Read more

I decided to try Arrechissimo after looking at some of the reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was closer to the other 2 star... reviews. While I have never been to Venezuela, I have traveled to Colombia and experienced excellent empanadas and arepas. I'vealso had some stellar experiences in the US and EU - empanadas at La Chiva (Colombian) and arepas at Quiero Arepas(Venezuelan). I decided to get a little of everything...beef empanada, chicken and avocado arepa, passion fruit drink, andcarrot cake dessert (they were out of Tres Leches). The empanada...larger than normal, the dough looked like the arepa dough, lots of dough (my first bite was just dough), a little undercooked, meat was a little dry and could have been more flavorful, and the sauce was extra (extra?!?) and also lacked the flavor punch you'd typically get. The arepa...it looked like the doughwas fried which I have never experienced, the dough was also partially cooked (still raw and loose in the middle), chicken hadno flavor, and the avocado was mixed with the chicken when I was expecting slices. Carrot cake was average and the passionfruit drink was the best part of the meal. Overall, a major disappointment and I don't plan to return. Read more

¡Qué rico! Don't be fooled by the restaurant's window, this place serves amazing food. They have a lot of options, but don't... be daunted; first, you can't pick anything wrong; second, the people there will happily offer suggestions and explain every dishto you. The arepas are fried perfectly: nice and crisp on the outside, and light and moist on the inside, and generouslystuffed full of flavorful shredded beef. The cachapa is just as delicious. Imagine a large, cornbread pancake that is filledwith smokey, salty cheese, then topped with more cheese and seasoned crema. And if neither of these sound good, try thetostones, which are tasty as well. They are best when still hot, so don't wait long before you eat them. Read more

An outside cafe type of establishment. Javier the owner very cordial, I ordered a empanada and arepa. First it was done at the... moment, not sittings in a glass case, getting old and tasteless. A wonderful delight to eat those items and very tasteful. Amust try to eat place. Highly recommended. Read more

So good! Very hearty and flavorful from an authentic Venezuelan husband and wife establishment. So few take-outs left that's... "through a window" so it was refreshing to be part of something real. Read more
