Ugh, I hate leaving not-so-great reviews, but I wish I had known what the wine was like here before we went. Went here to do a... wine tasting with a friend of mine. We like to check out various wine shops and have done a lot of tastings around town, so wearen't wine newbies. Tried Mio Vino since they had such high ratings. We were the only ones there. It's a cute place, and wechatted with the people who worked there. We didn't realize they make their own wine from mixes they get or something....? Wetried several tastes, but it was all not good. If you like sweeter or fruity wines, maybe you will like the wine. I keptthinking if I could add Sprite and ice and make it more of a wine cooler, then I might like it. I even tried some of the regularwines like Sangiovese (usually one of my favorites) and chardonnay. Again, my friend and I left there thinking all of the winewe tried was not wine we would buy or choose to drink again. So, I guess if you're looking for fruity or sweeter wine, then youmay like it. This place could be fun for a party where maybe you don't care what you're drinking. But if you're more of aregular wine drinker who knows and appreciates good wine (like my friend and me), then you probably won't like their wine. Read more

This place is the only place in Ohio where you Hand craft your own wine! You pick a wine you want to make and the guy shows... you how to do everything - they even print the wine bottle labels for you. First ?micro winery? that I have ever visited and itwas great - very enjoyable, laid back wine bar - had an excellent time. Wonderful selection of wines and both the wine and appetizers were very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the game shelf and the hospitality Mike showed us. Will certainly be backhere soon. Read more

My friend and I went for lunch. It?s one of a few places we don?t have to strain to to hear! The atmosphere is comfortable and... pleasant. We both ordered medium pizzas: chef?s choice and barbecue chicken. They were both absolutely delicious and we hadleftovers! We enjoyed our experience. Read more
I hosted my sister's bridal shower here, and as a first time Maid of Honor with little knowledge on how to plan a bridal shower,... I could not have asked for a better staff and venue. Brian, the owner of Mio Vino, is beyond helpful in answering any questionsand concerns. He was constantly corresponding with me to address any problems I had, and even got my labels printed on timeafter an error I made. Christie, the bartender, is also amazing. She is so wonderfully outgoing, and her presence at the showeradded to the amazing time everyone had. She was so attentive to the guests and was constantly offering her assistance to me.Whatever I needed, these two were there to help and ensure the best. I chose the Soiree package, and got 30 small "split"bottles that the guests were able to bottle and label (which Brian walked them through the process) themselves to bring home asparty favors. My guests absolutely loved this, and said it was such a memorable experience. In addition, they allow you to bringin your own food which is a perk not being forced to use caterers. They allow you to enter the venue an hour before your eventto set up, but you hardly need to decorate because the inside is already gorgeous!
