In my humble opinion, the best Italian beef sandwich in Chicago and its suburbs. ? Perfect bread to meat ratio. ? I got my... sandwich dipped. The gravy is delicious. ? Italian beef is beefy, thinly sliced, well seasoned, not dry or chewy ? The bread ishigh quality. Tastes like its from a local bakery. ? I got sweet peppers and hot giardiniera on the side. The sweet peppers areroasted and slightly charred. The hot giardiniera it hot but not too hot. Pleasantly vinegary. If you, like me, just bingewatched "The Bear" and are now craving some hot Italian beef, this place will scratch your itch. Read more

My Dad grew up in Deerfield and has been taking me here most of my life. Always been great. I haven't had one in a long time... until last night and its as good as remember. Will Definitely be making the trip down again soon. Read more

Sandwiches are one of my favorite foods and I especially love going to family-owned places because they always have that homey... flavor that chain restaurants can't seem to get. With that being said, I was excited to try this place when I saw how reasonablethe prices are and the heartiness of the subs in people's photos. Maybe I didn't order the right thing or maybe this is how itnormally is but I was extremely disappointed with my order. I got the turkey breast sub which was about $8 and it barely had anycontents and the cheese they used was American! It looked like a kraft slice and the bread was stale. I was not expecting to paythat much for the equivalent of an elementary school sandwich. The employees were nice but they kept questioning me about the10% off discount I got from Yelp for checking in. It immediately prompted on my phone and said to show an employee or the ownerso I decided to use it but no one had any clue what it was! Perhaps it's an error on yelp's behalf but I don't understand whythey'd give a coupon code without the business's knowledge. That was a bit bizarre. The employee was kind enough to apply thecode even though she was confused but the quality of the sub was not worth it. Very good sandwiches. Me and my partner ordered Italian beef and their original sandwich. Italian beef was great which I didn't... expect and the Original Tony's sandwich was very good as well. I would definitely come back and recommend. Staff was genuinelynice. Read more
Great sub place. Staff are friendly and food is good. Reasonable prices and plenty of parking.
