Last night, friends and I trekked out to Deerfield beach to try Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox. I was highly impressed! Not much a big... place, but is more like a big city neighborhood pub bursting with atomic energy. In the spirit of Halloween, they are all deckedout and it is a perfect time to bring the kids there to eat with ghouls, and goblins, and skeletons, and zombies, and giantspiders, and mommy could even sit next to a mummy. To complement the eerie, yet fun atmosphere, the bartender (maybe a witch)prepares an array of creepy potion cocktails to deliciously scare your thirst like a Berry Scary Sangria, a Black WidowMargarita, and the dreaded Kiss of Death to name a few. Then, they serve monstrous portion of finger foods (Halloween or not)from giant appetizers to Mount Everest-tall burgers (bring a rope and cleats to climb the Tucker Duke’s special burger… andthe question about that burger is not what’s on it, but what’s not on it?) I must admit that our meals were outstandingfrom chunky glazed pork belly named Porky’s Lollypop (sorry, no photo for that one), to succulent chicken wings, tofascinating and delicious burgers with awesome f-fries. There is no paper menu. You must scan the funny square with your smarto one to open the menu… this maybe challenging for some people. It’s worth the trip. Disgusting and disappointed is the best way to describe my experience at Tucker Duke's in Deerfield. I order boneless and bone... in wings, some fries and the Buffalo Mac & cheese - everything was absolutely horrible. The boneless wings were supposed to behalf Mango Hab half garlic parm. All 10 wings came garlic parm swimming in oil. I asked for ranch with the wings, no ranch wasgiven. On my bone in wings, half were supposed to be lemon pepper & half garlic parm, all 10 wings came garlic parm swimming inoil. I asked for ranch with these wings as well, no ranch was given. I ordered two sides of salt and pepper fries, I receivedtwo orders of soggy yet dry fries with 3 pepper flakes. Finally, I ordered the $16 Buffalo Mac & Cheese, for this side you wouldexpect it to be awesome right? Take a look at the pictures below, it speaks for itself. 4.5 stars. We had the kids slider, tater tots, the Tucker Duke's burger, and another one I don't recall the name. Food took a... little long to come out, but it was very good. The .5 star I would take out is because I think the burgers are $3-4 above what Ithink they should cost. Overall good experiece and good food! Read more

The portion here is very hearty but the burgers doesn’t come with any sides. You have to order them separately. The buns were... a little on the hard side and and the beef tasted dry. I order my burgers well done and have always done so, but it’s normallya lot juicier than at this location. Service is great and everyone was nice. Good selection of beers and weekly specials. Tucker Duke’s has some great burgers and while other items on the menu are decent, you are going to want to stick with one of... their burger options. Perfectly cooked patty with a good char and probably too much cheese for my heart, it’s going to makeyou smile. It’s a small storefront location with decent outside seating that’s pet friendly. Expect challenging service -it’s rare to have your drinks refilled without asking multiple times but the amazing burgers make up for any shortcomingsthere! Read more
