Stopped in for dinner and had a delicious homemade pizza. We also got the spicy cauliflower. Those were amazing. Service was... good and attentive. Their unsweetened iced tea tasted old. They took care of us, though, hence the 5 stars. Great views of thelake and a nice patio. We weren't staying at the resort, so it felt a little weird walking through the pool area. Any time you're at the Bear Pine....You'll be feeling mighty fine! Wonderful views, excellent service, delightful staff,... savory food, delicious (and cold) beverages, just an all-around great energy and atmosphere at the Bear Pine. The last time Iwas there I had to ask the person I was with to pinch me because I thought I was dreaming. When our server came with ourfantastic food after a much shorter time than we'd anticipated, I asked, "Is this heaven?" "No, this is the Bear Pine Bar &Grill." Slow day and over an hour wait for our food. No one stopped by our table the entire time to check on us or update us on the... delay. Absolutely ridiculous and is the first time I've ever felt compelled to review an establishment out of their sheerincompetence. Great rustic restaurant. Sit on the deck under mature pine trees and take in views of the lake. Watch boats come and go from the... dock, people swim, and even seaplanes take off. The food is great, with vegetarian options. Read more
This was the worst meal we?ve had in a long time. First time being here and nothing but issues. The lobster rolls were cold... including the bread. The burgers weren?t cooked fully and the Chicken Wrap had a 2? bone in it. Couldn?t even get the correctpop when there was 3 of us and 2 of us got water, how can you not even get that correct. Service was horrible, they were moreinterested in another table with 1 customer than to check on our table. We won?t be back. Read more
