Not terrible, but just meh. I ordered a steak burrito but got a pork burrito instead. Not gonna hold that against them, I was... too tired to speak up to correct it and I'm not picky. However, the pork was just chewy pork fat, and I couldn't stand to eatmore than 3 bites. Chips and salsa had a good flavor though. Many people recommend this place so maybe they just had an off day. My friends and I decided to go here from the second time, after last night. Our first time here was really decent so we wanted t... try it again. We went again and I ordered the same items I did from the previous night (tostadas). I get in today and thewaitress did not get my order right and basically gave me tostadas without the cheese it was supposed to have, without eveninforming me. I sent the food back to replace it with tacos, and the lady got mad at me. At the end, when it was time to pay forour food we had 5 different checks. We were fine with the gratituty being 15%, but the lady who wrong us up charged us 15% oneach check. They were supposed to split the gratituty between the 5 of us (3%each = 15%), but the lady insisted and thereforecheated us out of money. I?ve never been to a restaurant who adds gratituty to each person?s bill, it usually gets split. I amcertain no restaurants operate like this in the Chicago area. The taste is great and the quantity is good and i can say it is quite cheap. I'm not Mexican so I can't say it's authentic or... not but i love that the food is not bland. Also, i have been here many times and there has never been a situation where the foodwas awful. The order wait may depend if it is crowded or not but the staffs of the restaurant are nice and polite :) Read more
Two chicken Tacos, side of rice. Both were super delicious. Service was quick, food came quick.
I was very disappointed. I ordered the Tampiqueña plate and honestly the price was NOT worth it. The thin piece of meat was... mostly fat. My kids ordered a torta de milanesa de pollo and he was given steak. My other little one ordered the cheeseburgerand he might as well just have ordered two piece of bread with cheese. The ?burger? was the size of a freaking silver dollar. Wehad already waited over 40 minutes for food so they ate it reluctantly. When we got the bill, to our surprise the prices wereWAY higher than the printed menus we got. Not once did the waiter tell us the prices on the menu were different. The Tampiqueñaplate was not worth $21. Not even worth the $16 priced on the menus we got. I?ve gotten more meat from a hotdog than what theyserved. The restaurant had maybe 3 tables when we got there and while they were apologetic for wait, our waiter was also rushingus to place an order because they were busy? at one point she brought the wrong food to our table. Great food at an amazing price! The good was made fresh and the salsa Verde was the perfect topping to our meal.

This post is only going to review the catering portion of the business. We wanted to have their food truck come out and cater... for our safety lunch. I called multiple times and was always told that the person I needed to speak with was busy or notavailable. I never received a call back. I would not use them for their food truck or catering.
