Nice little diner in DeKalb. Having moved to this area 10 months ago I have been on the search for a little diner for breakfast... as I had my favorite in my old town. This place has the feel of the old place. Immediately welcomed upon arrival, food isprepared quickly and was delicious. Coffee refills were immediate and constant. We walked in for an early dinner around 4 and there were 3 other customers in the restaurant and we were seated at a back wall... (probably because we had a 2 yr old with, understandable). Food was ok nothing really great or something to want to come backfor. For 3 to eat was about $45 portions were alright. Wasn't bad the service was good. The bacon was kind of limp though but overall decent place to eat.
Good local eats! Clean hometown breakfast skillets are a favorite and the Fries & brown gravy are the best! Service is usually... pretty good, but now they have an extra charge if you need to use a debit/credit card and that stinks. Read more
I got the chopped steak dinner. It was pretty closed to Texas Roadhouse road kill dinner. Witch I love...the salad was crisp and... full of salad goodies...the veggies was cabbage and carrots cooked together. I did not try it. Read more
Good food at good prices. They have a large selection of breakfast, lunch, abd dinner fare. It's built around a strong train... theme which is fun. The service was pretty good and the restrooms were clean. It's worth stopping by if you are in the area. Thecoffee was one of the better ones I've had recently. Read more
I came here and the food was great. I had an ham and cheese omelette with hash browns, toast, side of sausage and bacon. Food... was out within 10 minutes and it was great. The staff was very friendly and attentive. And they were pretty funny as well. Willdefinitely come back and eat here Read more
