While I was weary of the new location, it's just as good as I remember. The menu has expanded now that business is back to what... it was, but the old classics are just as phenomenal. Our favorite informal Sunday brunch place to go. Food is always delicious coffee is black and strong. The pancakes, bacon, eggs,... sausages, toasts, are great and the hashbrowns ate the best in town. The dinning set is light, with tables and booths, serversand service is very fast. We?ve been loyal customers for years. We were very Disappointed with today?s experience. 3 of us were escorted through the... kitchen to some weird back room and seated at flimsy card table! There was no covering on the tiny table it was awkward anduncomfortable. It made us feel like second class guests in a place we always considered welcoming. There was plenty of seatingin the main part of the restaurant so were insulted to be shoved in the back room. Plus the unadorned all-purpose-room onlyoffers a view of the kitchen and the wait staff station, so it was hot! It was really tacky. We won?t be back for breakfast.The food is great and wait staff excellent, but that doesn?t mean you can shove small parties off to the side no matter what thereason. Yes, we did complain about the seating and we were told something about how the wait staff is arranged, which franklyshould not be a concern to guests.I?m sad for this experience because I really loved the Lincoln Inn for years. I usually go here with no issues but today I ordered a cinnamon roll and a pecan roll for a treat for one of my clients. The... pecan roll was hard and the cinnamon roll was kinda hard.
