Aleida was a spectacular and amazing server. She came through with a smile and gave us a reason to return. The order was a... lumber jack breakfast and a special grand slam for my birthday MAN. The atmosphere at this location was undoubtedlycomfortable. As the order was being brought out, i asked a question in regards to what motivates the server to come to work andrh answer was ... providing for their children. In this world today, so much happiness is taken away and in place is rage andloneliness. At Denny's we felt ???? welcomed and pleased with the service. New menu, and surprisingly some very tasty options. Prices have increased a bit but with the new menu and what seems to be a... higher quality of food Denny's is still got it! We got breakfast from one of my favorite breakfast places! Always as a kid, Dennys never disappoints. I requested to my Chocana... to have strawberries and I got a lot on top! Very delicious. The eggs were perfect, and hash browns were crispy and golden asthey should be. The waitress was very friendly and professional and gave me a great Saturday to start! This Del Mar Denny's used to be my favorite. Anytime night or day, the tables were clean, and the wait staff were always kind... and attentive. Now, since reopening after Covid, the food is about the same, but the customer service and cleanliness both needan adjustment. Dirty, sticky table space, and a waitress resentful of having to clean it. Still a great breakfast! Read more
We ordered take out online after their phone service failed to work and was given a pickup time of 8:35pm. We arrived on time... and our order was not ready. It took an additional 25 minutes to get our food and even the delivery driver that happened to bethere said we should get something comped for the wait, but the other employees refused. We tipped 15% when we placed the order,but after that service, we definitely regret being that generous. Read more

This has got to be by far, one of the best Denny's restaurants around. The food is always outstanding, the staff very friendly... and helpful. Located by the Del Mar race track, fairgrounds, etc. You can't go wrong at this Denny's. I highly recommend it. Read more
Thanksgiving dinner was a big disappointment. Took over 40 min, still not ready. I left. Host was blazing high. Ask to watch NFL... game. Turned on for 3 min, then switched back to old channel. ????Went to Dennys by Carlsbad, great meal served in 3 minutes!???? Read more
