We booked this place for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner since it's our favorite go to spot when we're in the area. We've... always loved the charming, garden feel, delicious food and friendly staff! When Hurricane Kay threatened to derail our plans, Bryan worked with us and offered their other location at Oceanside Harbor which is more enclosed. It was a beautiful evening andwe can't say enough about how reassuring, attentive, and kind both owner Josh and event coordinator Bryan were. I got the oinkster sandwich which come with a side of potatoes and seasonal fruit And 2 Ultimate bagels The food was well plated... and over all good flavor, but if ur extra like me request the condiments!!! They do provide hot sauce too! The service was good. Read more
The lady and I were in the Del Mar this morning and were both craving breakfast sandwiches. The Cafe itself is a cozy and... comfortable garden style outdoor patio. Dogs are welcome which is a huge plus! My Lady ordered an Iced Coffee and a OinksterSandwich with a side order of potatoes. I ordered a breakfast croissant (Bacon) with a side of fruit and a Everythings Rosiesmoothie. Our drinks where delicious and the staff was nice. Our Sandwiches were a different story. For my crossaint sandwichthey used Fake eggs that were undercooked and unseasoned, Bacon was soft and greasy and the cheese was melted on 1/3 of thesandwich. My ladys Sourdough bread was tough and chewey, also her side of potatoes tasted bland and unseasoned. For pricingthese sandwiches at $13.75 you could get the same quality Sandwiches at Jack In the Box for a third of the price. Local eateries are the best?.just need a ?local? to tell you where they are! Find Stratford Court Cafe and enjoy any meal... (breakfast always my fav!). One block off the main drag in Del Mar is this peaceful gem. You order at the counter and the speedy staff brings your... delicious food to your shaded outdoor table. My wife's eggs were perfectly done and my sandwich was packed with ripe avocado. You can just see the Pacific Ocean, but the ocean view is not that good. There seemed to be a lot of women enjoying the daywith their friends here. Parking on the street can be tight, so expect to walk a block or two. I plan to be back soon. Read more
