Seems like the manager might be the only one to handle things. For me, it was an experience I do not & will not do again. They... were nice enough, but just didn't know what they were doing. Not trained very well, if at all. Read more

It's IHOP so you know what kind of food they serve... but wow. This place is horribly managed with horrible service. You'll... wait, and wait, and wait, and wait some more. The staff will ignore you the entire time as an added insult while you attempt toget their attention for a refill. We sat at our table for over an hour waiting for the food to come out. No one will greet you at the door. Every time I have been there I have had to track someone down just to get a seat and that's... after waiting about 10 minutes each time. Nobody bothers to check the front. I'm not the only one in my party that's had thisissue. Multiple other people in my group throughout the week of our stay has had this issue. Yes, the food is good as to beexpected from IHOP but the service is lousy at best. Read more

Went to ihop around 5am this morning. Had tried calling in an order to go but nobody answered. Got there and two employees... vehicles were parked outside so I walked in because it?s open 24 hours. Nobody in sight. I waited for a few minutes, made somenoise, finally announced myself. Walked to the kitchen and couldn?t find a single person. So I left. As I was pulling out, onefemale employee was just standing at a car. How do you not know a customer pulled up in a lonely parking lot at 5 am? On anothernote, I do get great service during the day. Waited over an hour to be seated after being told 30 minutes max. Seemed to be concerned more on getting the 'to go' orders... ready and sent out rather than the customers waiting. Once seated the waitress did great and food okay but definitely more staff(especially chefs) needed. A lot of custom lost because of waiting too long. Read more

The worst!! 2nd try in a month and both times the wait is at least 30 minutes. Lobby is full. Restaurant is empty. Today I stood... with several others at the host stand to get on the list and was ignored while the servers walked around slowly Zane congregatedin a corner near the server station. Finally a young woman brought a large to go order out and stopped to ask if I wanted to geton the list? I told her I had 1 persona and gave her my name? She asked if I wanted to wait, pouting at the list, with about 8parties on it. Keep in mind the restaurant is empty. She said the wait was 30 minutes. She did not know how long the peoplesitting there had been waiting. This is the same answer I got the last one I went there, by the way. So, I asked why the tablesare all empty and the servers are strong in the corner and we were ignored waiting to be put on the list. She said the kitchenis busy making to go orders and they can seat people after this. I said, so.. you are serving customers who are not here infavor of customers who are here waiting? That is terrible customer service. Is there a manager here? She said yes. I decided atthat point it just was not worth it, as this is the way this IHOP operates in Del Rio, TX. It is unfortunate that there are notmany places to eat here and you are forced to endure terrible service. I will not be back here again. Read more

Nice menu choices awesome service. Great food. A bit dirty bathroom but their service was so good I think maybe we can over look... the bathroom deal. This place has impossibly great service I've gone twice and the waitresses are so on par. Drinks brought outcoffee awesome... Thanks for a great dining experience. BTW the bathrooms should never look that way as women using thatbathroom should have had the decency to flush the toilet and put the paper down the toilet. That really was not the restaurantsfault. Lack of respect was the issue. Still, the restaurant gets blamed in instances as these because they own them... Read more
