Just a Truck driver passing through. & this is a great spot. Parked my rig on the side area off the main road ( plenty of room... for a u turn) was offered 24 hour parking free . Good food. This review is without entering the place. First of all, they are not pet friendly, which is not specified until you get there.... Furthermore, we got there 10 until 4, and the establishment is supposed to open at 4, based on google and the establishmentsigns (the ones posted on the door!). We waited a bit, went for gas and came back. Around 4:23, we came back ant it was stillclosed. The worst part being that we could hear music inside the bar and we saw two ladies (which work there) cleaning stuffaround outside the establishment (and they saw us and could care less). Ugh! Anyways, we left and decided to look around a bitmore. We ended up in BLUE OASIS, it?s a bit further down if you come from the west, but it?s soooo much worth the drive! Only 4 stars due to some of the wait staff not knowing how to make mixed drinks on different occasions. 1st time was when a... Brass Monkey was ordered. I was told that they didn't know how to make that. REALLY?1? You can look it up on Google you know.I'm sure you can find how to make one. The second time was when an Old Fashioned was ordered and was presented with a bourbon onthe rocks. Okay...C'mon use that cell phone you're always carrying around to find out how to make that drink when you don'tknow. I must state that not all wait staff are unfamiliar with mixing up drinks. Jorge was excellent in his service and alwayschecked on how things were going for our party. Steak night has also always been excellent with steaks cooked to perfection andcheesy potatoes a very good side. Read more
Nice place for indoor bar and band. Outside would have been better in daylight (yard, games etc) but service was a bit slow... because they were not expecting as many people that were in our party. Read more
Went for the Wednesday night steak night. The joint was hopping! Steak was very flavorful albeit thin, sides were excellent... and staff friendly. If only it weren't so dark! Definitely a confusing process for anyone who hasn't been there but our groupof 6 muddled through. Read more
I spend 2 to 3 weeks hunting deer nearby every year in December and this is my home away from home for breakfast lunch and... dinner! Food is outstanding and beer is nice and cold. Always enjoy watching the local talent sing karaoke too! Read more
Great old school feeling beer joint. Only downside is they still allow smoking .
