Doesn?t look like much from the outside but this local mini chain (3 or 4 locations) is a must stop for breakfast. Try the... chicken and waffles, a southern tradition. The wait staff is fast and friendly. Only open till 2pm. Read more

I think it's important to note that none of the staff wore masks and don't believe I've seen another reviewer mention this. I... know this can be a turn off from potential first time customers. 3 1/2 stars. First time stopping by from Apopka. Stopped byapprox 1pm on a Saturday with my daughter (they close at 2pm). Ordered pancakes (w/ choc chips), eggs, bacon (one from kidsmenu and one adult entree), 2 waters, and a coffee. Order came out quick. 8yr LOVED the PLENTIFUL amount of choc chips on herpancakes. And gave it a higher rating than iHops version. The bacon was nice and CRISPY the way we both like it. The eggswere a bit cold for my liking, but tasted fine. Suspect they may have been cooked ahead of time to save time. Daughter triedthe water before me and immediately commented about how it tasted odd/chlorine. Common issue in some restaurants here inFlorida, but thought I mention it anyway. They could use a water softener/reverse osmosis. Coffee was decent. The waitresschecked back often. Ohhhh ???? yum! Found my favorite breakfast in DeLand ?? This unassuming little location has limited hours and I would assume is... busy the whole time they are open. The food is great and the portions are huge. Prices are reasonable. It is somewhere that cansatisfy the larger of appetites with lots of flavor. Even though they were very busy the service was fast, very friendly, andencouraged our party to relax and enjoy. I will without a doubt go here again. ??I ordered the mess(bread choice biscuit)andwould be remiss not to warn you that, although you will be compelled by the flavor to finish it in 1 sitting, it can put you infood coma ????
