It?s fine, but can?t say I?d be back. Got there early Friday night, sat right away at a weird round table near the bar.... Waitress was very nice and attentive and atmosphere was pleasant. We started with the fried calamari appetizer, may father gota Caesar salad as one of his sides, and I had to give the French onion soup a try. The salad came out almost immediately. It wasanother 5 minutes for the soup and calamari. No complaints on the time for the hot food but the salad should have been helduntil the other items were ready. The soup was good, very nice pull on the cheese and not an overly salty broth. The Caesar wasfantastic, well dressed and flavorful. The calamari was somewhat tender but the breading fell off almost every piece. I got theprime rib which was cooked a perfect medium rare but didn?t have much flavor aside from the crust which was a bit heavy on thesalt but did have a nice hint of rosemary. The green beans were half cooked and didn?t have much flavor but a pat of butterhelped. The creamed spinach was good, could have used a bit more cheese as the béchamel tends to be sweet. My father got theliver and onions with bacon. Despite the liver not being cleaned properly (you need to take out those veins and sinew) it wascooked well and not dried out or tough. The grilled asparagus was very pale, I would?ve thought canned except it was stillcrunchy and no sign of grilling. I heard there was supposed to be a good bread basket but was never offered, not sure if that?sstill a thing. Kinda disappointed because that?s one thing I look forward to, a good crusty steakhouse dinner roll. All in all, perfectly edible, good service, but nothing exciting enough to entice me back. Been twice now each time we had the Old Fashion sirloin with sides. We were pretty impressed with the steak it was very good... cooked perfectly the first time and a little overcooked the second time but overall we enjoyed it. I would recommend bathroom isclean the dining and bar area clean. So if you decide to try bon appetite. Read more

This area has a serious lack of restaurants offering brunch. I was disappointed when I found out the Stockyard discontinued... their brunch. However, the menu selection was enough to be a decent brunch spot when you're trying to avoid the downtown DeLandBike Week traffic. The hostess seated us quickly and it wasn't busy at 11:30 when we got there. Thankfully, they still servedmimosas and we had excellent service which lessened the "no brunch" blow. We ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp and Gator Tail asappetizers. They didn't quite stand out against our other meals but not bad either. They could have used a pop in flavor butwe're good enough to order again. The boys ordered the French Dip and Blackened Prime Rib sandwiches with fries. Their friesare a crispy thick curly fry and a perfect combination with prime rib sandwiches. I am picky with my fry texture and taste andthink they were both unique and perfectly prepared. I ordered the Steak Tips and they were an excellent brunch substitute. Theycame out in a mini cast iron pan filled with melted garlic butter. You could dip anything in that mixture and suddenly it wouldbe the best thing you have ever eaten. The Tomahawk Steak was an impressive way to start our Saturday morning. Topping thesteak with sauteed mushrooms gave it a little extra flavor and was a nice pairing. If you come certain nights there will be adifferent vibe with live music and good menu specials. The Stockyard is a nice way to eat local, and get a good steak dinner. It's not a bad option for a date night either. Service ???? Food ???? Vibe ??? Read more

Absolutist a wonderful experience! Starting with the giant bowl of seafood bisque, followed by coconut shrimp, and The stock... yard or fashioned. Perfectly cooked, drenched in house made garlic compound butter. As suggested by our waitress finished withthe fried cheese cake. Drizzled with chocolate and raspberry glaze and, with every calorie! Their steak is very good. Although I love the rib eye, but I have to admit the stockyard old fashioned is the best, the flavor... is just so perfect. The fried calamari is slightly salty but very good taste. Love the outdoor environment too Read more

The food was great but their were to many annoying small flies which is very disgusting. If you have a small fly problem than... your kitchen drains need to be cleaned. I recommend the establishment pay extra for fly control treatment because when we haveto bat more than 3 flies that's a major concern. Read more
