my go-to smoothie spot in DeLand area. there?s only one size and it?s super filling. there?s a variety of fruity and sweet... smoothies. my favorites are the Sunrise Sunset (strawberry, pineapple, mango, OJ), Bahama Mama (strawberry, pineapple, whitechocolate, coconut), and the Peanut Butter Cup (peanut butter, banana, chocolate). everything is made to order, super fresh, andso good! the staff is also super friendly and the service is quick. there?s a restroom inside along with some seating. there?salso outdoor seating and curbside pick-up available. Great new smoothie café in DeLand. It is a better option for healthier foods and beverages. The staff is friendly, helpful, and... very knowledgeable of the items they offer. It is well maintained and very clean, inside and out. The smoothie I ordered todaywas absolutely delicious and filled to the top. I recommend the Island Green add Coconut with an edible strawberry straw! It isa great combination of kale, spinach, pineapple, mango, and banana. Trust me you do not even know you are sipping on kale andspinach, this is something you would sip at the beach on vacation! The wait in line was more than average but what do you expectthey are making your order fresh and custom to you not pulling it from under a heat lamp that they have been sitting under forwho knows how long! First of all, the environment was great, great price and various options to choose from (smoothies, wrap & quesadillas,... sandwishes & salad, flatbreads and kids meal). I was surprised at how facily good and cozy this cafe was. If you haven't beento Tropical Smoothie DeLans you need to go! (Dine-in or Drive thru). Overall, great location and will be returning!!! On recommendation, my boyfriend and I tried some smoothies and sandwiches for dinner. Seeing as the name of the establishment... definitely hints that smoothies are probably a big hit, the main selling point, I expected better than a McCafe qualitysmoothie. The menu makes it seems like fresh fruit is the main ingredients used, but the smoothies come out like overly sweetcandy slushy instead of smoothie. The sandwich was decent for the price.
