I am having a difficult time understanding all these negative reviews. Genoa Pizza of Delavan, WI saved my mine and my husband's... dinner plans tonight! I originally was going to order from Jo jo's pizza. I called Jo jo's for delivery and asked for thechicago style pizza. They had no idea what I was talking about! So I literally drove to Jo jo's to show them the picture of thepizza I wanted off their menu. They were even further rude to me and told me they would not help me and to go somewhere else.So, I found myself ordering from Genoa tonight. The pizza was delivered quickly in less time than they had quoted me and it waswarm upon arrival. The chicago style pizza I received from Genoa was delicious with the toppings covering the pizza. Jo jo'slost my family's business forever as of tonight and I'm very happy to say I have a new restaurant to go to when I need pizza,Thank you Genoa! Read more
I have ordered from here for years and now I am done. Store bought crust, tasteless sauce and one normal sausage now covers... about 4 pieces. . And on top of it all, they raised their prices. I get better frozen pizzas in piggly wiggly.. Read more
First time we ordered for take out pizza in Delavan. We were looking for a good pizza for a long time, ( we are from Milwaukee ... ). Very pleasantly surprised. Good, fresh ingredients. Especially liked fresh mushrooms, not canned, and nice amount ofonions. Good thin crust. Will absolutely order again. Thank you for a satisfying experience. Read more
They use to have a Monday special (buy 1 get one at half price) not any more. I ordered 2 pizzas and asked for a receipt, all... it had was the total, not the price of each pizza, I asked for an itemized receipt and she said she wasn't the manager. Oh yaand when I got there I had to wait approximately 7 minutes for her to get out of the bathroom and no she didn't wash her handswhen she got out! Now I'm not one to complain. But being this took $40 bucks out of my pocket I want to say something in hopes someone else won't... make the same mistake. Called wanting to place a delivery for two 10 piece chicken strip BASKETS. Assuming that all theirbaskets came with fries, like any other normal restaurant in the area. Got told they didn't do that anymore, that the highestthey went was 8 pieces. That part didn't bother me. It was when the food arrived and it was just chicken. No fries. The funnypart is I ordered cheese sauce for fries. One would assume that if that's ordered the customer is assuming there is fries,therefore you should double check when taking the order. One would assume that when taking an order you would ask if thecustomer wanted fries included. Especially since their original order couldn't be fulfilled as advertised in their menu. When Icalled and complained, I immediately got told that fries are not included in a 10 piece basket. I double checked the menu and itdoes say that. In small red print that blends in with the menu. Immediately I was offered a credit refund...But only a dollarfor the sauces that they left out of the order. I got a fake apology for the misleading menu and the lady i spoke with couldn'teven bother to acknowledge the fact that she didn't clarify their policy on fries. Nor did she explain why my order went withoutfries being its not even a 10 piece. Im very disappointed, and will not be ordering from this place again.
