WOW! What a show! Came for lunch and stayed for the fried rice. It was excellent. My partner E money would love the theatrics!
The only restaurant I know that adds a 15 percent forced gratuity! I ordered a to go meal for my son that was at work and still... got charged 15% gratuity tip even though I was dining in with my other 2 children even with all that said... READ REVIEWS FOR TAKEOUT. Today I ordered takeout and was charged 18 percent tip on TAKE OUT! I explained (after they cooked my... food so it wasn’t tampered with) that I felt that was a scam and I did not want to pay that amount. I was told it was becausethe hibachi chef is a different chef ????. My food would’ve been cooked either way, I should not have a built in gratuity forthe chef… is this even legal? She chose to act as if all Hibachi restaurants do this. I assured her they do not. She statedmaybe Chinese hibachi do not! ???? … racist statement The food was lacking. The chicken was dry, the yum yum had white chunksin it, the salad dressing had a vegetable oil type substance floating, and the vegetable portions were small. Fried rice is anup-charge. The parking lot is always empty and now I know why…. Because they SCAM you out of money. The tip should be at mydiscretion. I will not be returning. Read more
My first Japanese Steak House and the experience was Outstanding! Your order was prepared right in front of you. Food is very... fresh. Covid compliant with staff all around. The chefs put on a dazzling show of there cooking skills. I definitely recommend. The price is worth the meal. Read more
What a great place to grab some amazing sushi and hibachi. My favorite sushi is the Crazy Shrimp. I have dined in, and ordered... their take out at and food is always delicious. I usually choose to sit at a regular table when I just wanted a quick meal. WhenI want the complete dining experience I opt for a seat at the hibachi grill. Highly recommend. Read more
Birthday dinner for six-- Asahi is a large, clean, well-staffed and family friendly restaurant with professional chefs and... servers who kept everyone well attended. One of our party was a 4 yr old granddaughter, and the staff knew exactly how to serveher, plus a beautiful balloon. The chef cooked and served our hibachi food perfectly; from the fried rice to the steak andseafood, it was delicious. I recommend this Delaware gem to anyone who wants great food and fun dining experience. Read more
I was in Delaware for work and was in the mood for hibachi. I heard great things about this place from friends and had to try... it for myself. I started out with the Japanese dumpling which were pretty good. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi. Theportions were very filling. I always order extra fried rice so there’s enough for lunch or dinner the next day. The yum yumsauce here is delicious. My drink was always refilled before I had to order more and the cook was very funny and interactive. Read more
I have had food in few of hibachi restaurants but the food here wasn’t worth for the money we paid.. everything was salty and... didn’t have any other taste..salad and soup were not that great. The person who came for hibachi didn’t spent so much timecompared to other places. Read more
