I've gotten pizza here many times and it's always a great experience. The owner is very nice and goes the extra mile by asking... how your doing and to be safe going home. It's that small town personal touch that is rare to find these days. The pizza is verygood and I drive the 20 minutes from home to go there over ordering out. It's definitely worth the visit. My brother got a large cheese pizza and I ordered a shrimp platter with fries. The pizza was somehow both way too dry and way... too greasy at the same time. The shrimp was barely the size of a nickel, breaded even though they had me under the impressionthat it wouldn't be, and almost too hard to even chew. The only thing we even kind of liked was my fries, which tasted ok if abit dry as well. Read more
Very good traditional pizza shop food in historic Delaware City. I asked the nice man to give me whatever represented La... Matesina the best. He gave me the supreme, fried onions, banana peppers, pepperoni, lettuce tomato and mayo. I got the large. I liked just about everything except the meat. Meat was dry. Nice toasted Liscio roll. I really enjoy the pizza and the Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steaks. The mozzarella sticks are awesome too! The owner is very nice... and my order is always on time.
